Can I ask. How much are they charging for wifi onboard? Thanks

Voom $20 per day one device , $30 2 devices less appropriate discounts but there seemed to be an option half those prices called surf and share ( the options above were termed surf and stream ) there was a 4 device package also but don't have the details of it. Hope this helps.

Re The Grande. We were in there last night. Everyone we could see were dressed up in their formal attire. It was a Royal Night and there was a very large number who were in Formal or at least smart casual.

Re DD. There is a note on the DD Classic information that was posted in the stateroom first day that if you did not turn up to you sitting within 30 minutes your reservation would be cancelled. This matches with what the waiters told us that they were trying to avoid empty tables when guests were speciality dining.

We also saw last night the table next to us used by a different couple so appears to be working on that front.

So for you MTD diners that makes more tables available.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. :)

Assuming Grande had it's own menu - was it nice?

Is Royal Night the new name for formal night?

Did you find out how many restaurants each night are given over to the classic diners for first choice? I'm assuming it couldn't be all four of the free restaurants as this would deny too many other passengers a chance to eat in them??

Thanks for taking the time to post for all of us fascinated with Ovation.

I'm a little surprised to see that RCI are charging for things that I would consider to be pretty cheap food - such as pasta and noodles. Or is there something special about these things of which I am unaware?

I think it is more that Royal is moving more towards the "nickel and dime you to death" approach on the newest ships. Johnny Rockets is a la carte and some room service items are charged per item too.

Surf and share = rubbish bandwidth. Stream = better bandwidth

I find it hard to believe these figures as it is pretty fast for me. No problems opening and replying to these posts for example...
