Kiwi Kruzer Posted June 1, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted June 1, 2015 Is this an international day or something? No ..its the 1 st June. Each year the 1st June is known as Gypsy day as its the day that farms change hands and sharemilkers move from one property to another , and set themselves up for the next season. Its a rural thing and most townies wouldnt even have a clue it was going on unless they were travelling and got held up by all the stock trucks. Now Singleton has the national wife carrying championships, there's an event.

rabbitoh_777 Posted June 1, 2015 #21 Share Posted June 1, 2015 . You Ozzies and your sheep....Oh Boy. It was cattle being moved today, but I guess some townies dont know the difference.:D . . There were 3 Aussie blokes and one Kiwi farmer in a king cab truck driving in New Zealand on Gypsy day. The first man is an ecologist. The second man is a logician. The third man is a mathematician. They all see a brown cow on the side of the road parallel to the truck. The ecologist says, "Look! The cows in New Zealand are brown.". The logician says, "No no. There is at least one cow in NZ that is brown." The mathematician says, "You're both wrong. There is at least one cow in New Zealand of which one side appears to be brown." The Kiwi farmer says "Ohhh look over there sex sheep!!! chuuzzz cuzzzie brozzz  .
