CarolinaGirl2010 Posted July 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2015 What do you think the chances are that we can bring a case of Gatorade onto Freedom of the Seas? Last cruise my husband ended up with heat exhaution and PowerAde cost a lot on the ship. I'm determined that he is going to drink Gatorade at every port, and It would be a whole lot cheaper to bring it on board. Would the best way to be to put a luggage tag on it and check it in with the luggage? Kathy

Grandma Dazzles Posted July 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2015 Buy in powdered form and mix with water - much easier.
awhfy Posted July 23, 2015 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2015 I brought Gatorade in a shrink wrapped box (straight from Costco) with a luggage tag last year .& plan on doing the same in November. I thought about the powdered, but they don't have G2 in powdered form
S.A.M.J.R. Posted July 23, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 23, 2015 I agree with Bob. Another option... get the mix to bring with you, then just add to water bottles (either ones you purchase or bring with you).

SPacificbound Posted July 24, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 24, 2015 Due to a metabolic disorder I drink the equivalent of 5 20oz bottles of G2 daily. I buy the G2 packages with the little tubes of G2 powder and mix my own when traveling. Aside from the two bottles of wine/champagne guests are allowed ONE personal bottle of water. So there is a chance that it will be spot checked and if it does it gets disposed of. Hope this answers your question.
Rare WrittenOnYourHeart Posted July 24, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 24, 2015 I would look into options such as Nuun - which comes in tablet form in tubes - or Ultima - which comes in individual packets or a small tub. Both are electrolyte replenishers and are much healthier for you than gatorade. Much more transportable too. You'd add either to water.
