Just got off from (Feb 4-8, 2017) Mariner OTS and the CD (Troy) on it was a total disappointment, the entire ship has no soul, kind of missing Dan Whitney (Dan Dan Mian) when he was CD sometimes back for the Singapore sailing season in 2016.

The Cruise Directors were at a conference in Las Vegas last week, so the Activities Managers filled in for a sailing or two on all ships.

I read that Simeon Kirkiles is CD on Harmony. Is this for the rest of the year?
No. Simeon is the Activities Manager who stepped up and covered for one sailing so Bobby Brown could attend the CD conference.

The schedule so far is Bobby Brown January 7 until March 11, then Abe Hughes returns March 11 until mid-July. It has not been announced who will be covering Abe's break mid-July through mid-August, then Abe should be back mid-August until just before the holidays (unless something changes).

Can anyone find out:

When does Tim leave Allure (end of February), and who will be the next CD?

When does Clo leave Anthem (early-March) and who will be the next CD (Dru Pavlov?)

When does Jerome leave Brilliance (early-March) and who will be the next CD?

When does Carlos leave Empress (late-February) and who will be the next CD?

When does Casey leave Freedom (late-February) and who will be the next CD?

Who is coming onboard Grandeur when Bobby goes on break Feb 25? (Paul Rutter?)

What is the handover date (mid-March) on Indy between John and Drew?

Is Fang still onboard Mariner? For how much longer? Then who?

What is the handover date (Feb 11 or 18) on Jewel between Dennis and Simona?

Is Bill still onboard Vision? For how much longer? Then who?

When does Patricio leave Oasis (mid-March) and who will be the next CD?

^^^^ I'm hoping someone sailing this week can help us fill in some of the many blanks on the list.

(Please do not include info about Activity Managers who stepped up earlier this month for only one or two sailings so the CDs could attend the conference in Las Vegas)

Vision is a girl called Angelle from Netherlands

She confirmed she will still be on in a month when I sail on Vision again.

Has Angelle been promoted to CD permanently? According to the info I have, she is the Activities Manager on Vision, and just filled in as CD for one or two sailings during the convention.

I loved Abe on the Anthem he was awesome and loved his late night early morning show. Would love to see him on my November Anthem cruise

Abe told us on the HOTS 12/24 cruise that he would be on the Harmony until the next new ship comes out.

Donna Dru is returning to anthem that will be his ship for 3 years unless something happens in between

Thank you for confirming what I thought. The last time I spoke with Dru, he said that he prefers ships that are based in NY/NJ, and that he was the permanent CD on Anthem.

Can you find out the handover date between Clo and Dru?

Someone mentioned that the new CD, Bobby, on Grandeur was coming over to Anthem after his next contract, which was confusing. For now, I'll assume that this info has changed.

Paul Rutter has long been permanent CD on the Grandeur. Could Bobby be the regular relief for Dru and Paul, 2 months on each ship and 2 months off?

Bobby has a 4 month contract on Grandeur (October 22 until February 25)

A CD can only be assigned to the same ship for 3 years, so it's likely that Paul has been reassigned.

Hugo Arenas is AM. Wondering why he didn't step up, as after all, the audition they do for AM is the same as CD so they can step up if required. To be fair, from what I have seen, he does seem quite annoying.

Abe should be returning to Harmony in mid September, not mid August. Hoping he will still be onboard for my July 8th sailing.
