beachsands Posted August 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Trying to figure out which tour company is going to give us the biggest bang for the buck in the NYC harbor/area? It seems like there are so many of them with all sorts of options. I just want to see a lot of stuff....like maybe going up past the Intrepid, and/or over on the east side of Manhattan. I am not necessarily interested in a buffet meal or that sort of thing. Good viewing areas on the boat is plus along with being able to hear any narration well. Joel. njhorseman Posted August 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Try the Circle Line "Best of NYC" cruise which circumnavigates Manhattan. It's nothing fancy, but you'll see everything that can be seen from the water: https://www.circleline42.com/cruises-and-schedules/best-of-nyc-cruise/

Brighton Line Posted August 31, 2015 #8 Share Posted August 31, 2015 I've done Circle Line with visitors since I was a kid and they sailed out of Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn back then. Enjoy!

Rare babs135 Posted September 1, 2015 #10 Share Posted September 1, 2015 We will be in New York in November 20th - 24th. Do you think it will be too cold to appreciate the sights? And would it be better to book for a morning cruise when it should be light or late afternoon as the lights come on?
Rare babs135 Posted September 1, 2015 #11 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Meant to also ask. Can you book on the day, or does it have to be pre-booked ?
