PhillyFinest27 Posted September 15, 2015 Author #27 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Check out the atrium/solarium on day 1. I didn't bother until day 4 or 5 when I went to eat at the Brazilian steakhouse. Man, was I kicking myself. How was the steakhouse?
PhillyFinest27 Posted September 15, 2015 Author #28 Share Posted September 15, 2015 April 10 . Are you on the same cruise? No I will be seeing you get off board. I am going April 17th... Staying at the Hilton Marina... So I can see the ship come into port as well :)
PhillyFinest27 Posted September 15, 2015 Author #29 Share Posted September 15, 2015 I recommend Blue Planet from one of the front rows in the balcony. Easier on the neck than the front rows of the main floor because of the aerial acts. Is Blue Planet a must see though? Was it entertaining? Rare BillOh Posted September 15, 2015 #35 Share Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) Is Blue Planet a must see though? Was it entertaining? For us yes, very entertaining. Once might have been enough, except they skipped a portion of the show my first time, so i was glad i went back. I've always enjoyed trampolining and they have a part of the show where they have a rock formation with 3 trampolines and that was really amazing, that got skipped this my first time. Rare BillOh Posted September 15, 2015 #37 Share Posted September 15, 2015 How was the steakhouse? I liked it. I've never been to a mainland restaurant of the same type, but I did enjoy it.
champagne123 Posted September 15, 2015 #38 Share Posted September 15, 2015 I'll be jeolous as we're walking off :D Have heard that's a lovely hotel. And great anticipation of the cruise! This is where we stay, when cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale. We really like it. After dinner, we would go in the back, by the pool. There is a Tiki Bar and we love sitting under the palm trees, with a couple of cocktails on the inlet. Entrance to the cruise port is only a minute away and Walgreens is a block away for any last minute items.

Rare little britain Posted September 15, 2015 #41 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Try and find all 20 of Larry Kirkland's Small Wonders which are located through out the ship. He has created a unique series of images containing objects representing the many cultures of our world. Can you explain a little more what these 'wonders' are and where you can find them? Are they like the little alien thingies on Oasis where you look through the binoculars??

travellink Posted September 15, 2015 #43 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Check out the evening classical music performances in Central Park. The walking tour of Central Park led by the landscape specialist is very informative as well ! It was held day 2 and day 5 at 9:30 AM during our 7 day Caribbean cruise, just check your Cruise Compass.
lizmit Posted September 16, 2015 #44 Share Posted September 16, 2015 I also found that Blue Planet was incredibly boring. Check it out but sit where you can make a clean get away if it isn't your cup of tea. I was disappointed in the roast beef sandwiches … opinions on food are highly subjective. I've never stayed up late enough for Quest but everyone raves about that --- that'll be announced in the daily program (Cruise Compass) so keep your eyes open for it. Enjoy all of the art work on the ship. It's everywhere and is amazing. Most of all - Have a great time!!!!! ~ Liz
