cb at sea Posted September 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2015 I've seen some flavors, but haven't paid much attention....I like my coffee with plain creamer!!!!
spookwife Posted September 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2015 bring your own. any flavored syrups are a cost.. and no flavored creamers at all
CntPAcruiser Posted September 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2015 I'm sure I've seen basic flavored creamers (vanilla and hazelnut) out with the coffee service in the Windjammer and Promenade Café. You'll need quite a bit to drown the taste of the coffee. If you like good coffee, bring a small travel-size French press and your own ground beans! anjomojo Posted September 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 24, 2015 No flavored creamer anywhere on ship...at least not free. The coffee is very strong. In fact I find myself drinking more hot tea on cruises than I usually do = a lot less coffee drinking.
robin13 Posted September 24, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2015 I always bring a box of 24 Hazelnut creamers with me. This time the coffee was so bad that I went through the whole box. My friends stopped at a CVS in San Juan to buy a bottle of liquid creamer as they couldn't stand the taste of the coffee. This was on IOS so have no idea what your ships coffee will taste like. Blondynka Posted September 24, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 24, 2015 So much hate for the coffee! I quite like the complimentary coffee. Been on oasis, allure and quantum and the coffee has been more than passable at all times. Maybe they go through it faster on the bigger ships so it doesn't get burnt/stale? AllmanJoy89 Posted September 24, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 24, 2015 I always bring my own creamer.....something that important to me....I don't want to risk the possibility of them NOT having what I want. While on the subject of coffee.....we are booked in a JS on the Vision in January. I've read there is a coffee maker in the room. Can someone provide me more details on this? Is it a Keurig? TIA! Rare John&LaLa Posted September 24, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 24, 2015 Not a Keurig, it takes the pre made filter bags. Old school

LOL Although this coming up cruise with a few cold days and the RR package, along with the CL, things may be different. CandRcruise do you prefer liquid creamer or powdered and what flavors? ladylikes2cruise Posted September 24, 2015 #16 Share Posted September 24, 2015 I find if I cut in 1/3 hot water with the coffee it's not too strong;). I also bring a box of flavored creams for my after dinner coffee.
nomoreknothead Posted September 24, 2015 #17 Share Posted September 24, 2015 I've started bring the Coffee*mate "to-go" bottles of liquid creamer concentrate. The bottles are smaller & you can use less because they are concentrated flavored creamer.

Did you like the flavor and did it require more than one squirt per cup? It seems to be a much easier alternative to the International Delight pods, which I like. bigque Posted September 24, 2015 #20 Share Posted September 24, 2015 I like French Vanilla creamers in my coffee and I have had no trouble bringing the little individuals in my baggage. I have never seen them on board the ship however!
Rare John&LaLa Posted September 24, 2015 #21 Share Posted September 24, 2015 Wal-Mart had Almond Joy creamer pods this morning. Less than $3 for 24. And yes, I am aware they are probably not good for you

pixiestyx Posted September 24, 2015 #24 Share Posted September 24, 2015 This is why I'm thinking of going with the replenish package. I'll have CL access but cannot stand powdered cappuccino yuck! I also hate fake cream. Do they at least have real milk/cream for the specialty coffees at cafe promenade? Can you get specialty coffee with replenish in the MDR? We'll be on Adventure if that makes a difference.
