spcl4cs_gal Posted September 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Does anyone remember the link to the site that tells how many ships are in a certain port on a certain day? Thanks.

John&LisaGA Posted September 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Cruisett.com is another place but it does not include all of the cruise lines, but is pretty good.

CruiserBruce Posted September 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2015 The most accurate is to do a search for the port/harbor websites, and check ship schedules.
Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted September 25, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 25, 2015 The most accurate is to do a search for the port/harbor websites, and check ship schedules. I use Whatsinport. I've found it to be pretty relieable and I think it has links to some port websites.
catl331 Posted September 25, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Recent comments on cruisett are that it is not updating and not at all accurate. EM I agree. It used to be pretty good before it went "membership" but now it is poor IMO.
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 25, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 25, 2015 cruisetimetables is the one I use. None of the sites are 100% accurate but they seem to be better than other ones.

Rare chefestelle Posted September 25, 2015 #11 Share Posted September 25, 2015 I haven't heard about this site before. I will have to check it out. Thanks. It's a really basic site but it has maps, satellite images and little details about what's there, what you can walk to and some diy things to do. SeaBands Posted September 25, 2015 #12 Share Posted September 25, 2015 it only means that the port can handle that many passengers.
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 25, 2015 #13 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Often the sites are not 100% accurate. They rarely reflect ships that are not USA oriented. I also think the best source is first seeing if the port itself lists the schedule. Keith
jtl513 Posted September 25, 2015 #14 Share Posted September 25, 2015 it only means that the port can handle that many passengers. St Thomas with one or two ships in port is a whole different place than when there are six, especially if one of them is a Behemoth of the Seas! Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted September 25, 2015 #15 Share Posted September 25, 2015 it only means that the port can handle that many passengers. No, it means that the docks have space for that many ships. St Thomas and St Maarten have lots of dock space, but when there are multiple large ships, everything is crowded. In St Maarten, it can be chaotic on the pier where the ships' tour groups gather before heading to their busses.
