Shogun Posted October 1, 2015 Author #28 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Hi All. Thank you for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers, Things went well, was seen way a head of my time, which meant that I got home last night, so they have taken some tissue samples from the things they found need to wait until after cruise for results, also found a couple of other conditions consultant will send detailed report on everything, so everything is fine to go on my cruise, my own doctor will advise on what meds I will need to take when I get back, overall comment from consultant was old age and wear and tear, more than he would expect for my years. As to the things they found consultant does not expect any issues but will most likely will need to get them checked in the years ahead. Now to finish the packing and re book that taxi, this time he will be turning left at the end of the drive rather than right. yours Shogun PS, Its October and Scotland has temps of 23c full sunshine, but days are short and nights are almost below zero, as you expect, feel sorry for all those folks that did UK cruise this summer had temps 10 degrees cooler and rain, weather is just crazy. Shogun Posted October 1, 2015 Author #37 Share Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) Hi All Took the dogs out for their last walk tonight before they go to pet sitter tomorrow, young one went crashing through tall grass and fell into a deep drainage ditch, only because she was crying for help was able to find her in the dark and was able to reach the top of her head and pull her out, then when putting them back in the car big one got his paw caught in the door, oooch. Will be very happy when I get safely into my cabin. yours Shogun PS young one is now two tone black smelly mud and white Edited October 1, 2015 by Shogun

toberman Posted October 1, 2015 #42 Share Posted October 1, 2015 You make me laugh Shogun.... If it wasn't for you, or the Mrs, or more importantly - the dogs (I know - not really) .. nothing would go just right for you. As I'm reading this - Donna is well with the tooth Dr? So.. you're on your way now after dropping off your special friends? As I said before... don't want to miss your "Live From" on the Emerald - my favourite ship. Take care
Gabrielle R. Posted October 1, 2015 #43 Share Posted October 1, 2015 I cheered when I heard all was a go for you. I gasped when Mrs had a bad tooth.... then cheered again when it was a go AGAIN! I'm sorry I chuckled about the mud toned young one.... I've been there to.... though skunk and a large husky is a bit smelly...... think I'll take mud..... Hope you have a super terrific cruise!!!
