Question about pricing back to back

Does Royal Caribbean give any type of discount above and beyond regular Crown and Anchor discount for booking a back to back cruise on any of their ships?

Unfortunately not. Pretty much the only perk is that sometimes on some ships they may offer a special lunch for consecutive cruisers.

No special pricing as others have mentioned. If you are booking back to back, be sure to check on your loyalty status. If you move from Gold to Platinum as an example, and are staying in a balcony or better, you should get a balcony discount, after you have reached that new level.

......except that RC now reprices if you apply a balcony discount that was not previously there. Check to see if prices have risen by more than the discount.

Super Mario's TA get the same 150% solo supplement that all Platinum cruisers get. Nothing special, considering he cruises 48+ weeks per year.

Single supplement 150% starts at 340 points so that is in the middle of D+ status and not Platinum.

For my up coming B2B i booked over the phone instead of online and only had to pay one deposit for both cruises. not sure if that was normal.

One more Q, are such things given when you book through a TA, or do you have to "ask" for them... Do you get joined automatically to Crown and Anchor on your first cruise, or is this something I should have activated myself at the time?

 

You know - I didnt even notice Royal Caribbean's "symbol" was an anchor wearing a crown until about a fortnight ago...

Depends on the TA, we don't need to ask ours, but if you are working with a new TA, you might have to ask.

Balcony discounts start at Platinum level. Once you enter your C&A number it will be calculated automatically if applicable.

 

The 150% solo supplement perk starts at diamond+/pinnacle level (think there was a typo further up). It's at 340 points as someone mentioned - roughly halfway to Pinnacle.
