Queensmom2 Posted November 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2015 Hi there cruise experts. I'm all set to book my first cruise (Oasis, in March 2016) for myself, husband, and two daughters. I see a really good BOGHO + $300 OBC deal right now, and I plan to book directly with RCI. My question is: should I wait until Cyber Monday to book? If I book now, and a better deal comes out on Cyber Monday, will RCI honour it? Thank you in advance! For a newbie to cruising, this is a great site! Clarea Posted November 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2015 I'd book now, and if a better deal comes out later, Royal usually lets you take advantage of it, assuming the cruise is before final payment date.
LisaAtlCruiser Posted November 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 25, 2015 Congrats on your first cruise! You are jumping in big time going to the largest ship there is. I would book now. If the price drops before final payment you can call and they will honor it (only exception is specific sales). I always book my cruises early and have never regretted it. Debitoo Posted November 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 25, 2015 I agree with the posts above. Book it now! And, welcome to Cruise Critic and cruising. Please plan on becoming addicted! :D
bt6799 Posted November 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 26, 2015 Agree, book now. Email preview I got from TA shows cyber Monday deal same as current promo, except OBC up to $400. But who knows what they'll do to the base price.
monctonguy Posted November 26, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 26, 2015 Base price will prob go up by then, so better deal now. Only difference is on Monday they are offering some extra OBC...but no guarantee the base price will be the same....
Queensmom2 Posted November 27, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted November 27, 2015 Thanks everyone. I waited until today (Black Friday), and was able to receive 25% off third and fourth guests, as well as BOGOHO and $300 OBC - not bad! Now to plan the excursions, dining, etc. WOOHOO! We just booked tonight and received BOGO at 50% off second guest and 300.00 on board credit. Is the 300.00 credit for each person or is it total for both passengers? RCI Cruisers 004 Posted November 28, 2015 #10 Share Posted November 28, 2015 I would book now and check for a price drop on Monday. If nothing changes, keep checking every once and awhile for any price changes.

lovelife Posted November 28, 2015 #12 Share Posted November 28, 2015 Where did you guys hear about a Cyber Monday sale? Did RCCL send out e-mails to all but me????? (which is usually the case). Don't see anything on their website either.
