Wave season with Oceania

I've heard of it; I think orchestrapal is right, it's some kind of marketing ploy dreamed up by mass market cruise lines.

From most things I read I think you are right.

Wave season is January through March when the largest percentage of the cruises for the coming year are booked..Oceania usually does not do anything special just for wave season..

Also known as "sucker sales" are to lure the masses to sail on mass market floating malls......I got notice from Princess, Hey....get a balcony cabin for only...$89pp.......... act fast ..... limited to those stupid enough to believe us... YES YOU....hurry this offer will expire as soon as people catch on."
