SamFritz Posted December 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 25, 2015 I just wish they'd build some ships that I'm interested in. I'm not a fan of paying a premium in fare so that I can have more things to do, all of which come with an up charge. Less like Oasis and Quantum, more like Freedom and Adventure. CanadaRob Posted December 25, 2015 #8 Share Posted December 25, 2015 It's great that Royal is continuing the growth of the business. For those that are shareholders it will be a couple of great years. For us average cruisers it will give us more selection and ultimately maybe better deals. Would love to see a new Freedom class but Royal has moved on from this class and will probably only see some dry dock enhancements on the existing ships (like the water slide/tube thingy on Liberty) Would. Cruise a Quantum class again? Oh yeah I would, would I consider some other ship that does the same itinerary? For sure if it is saving some $$ Other lines maybe too

Biker19 Posted December 26, 2015 #14 Share Posted December 26, 2015 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2276206 I missed the earlier thread on this. Once they have the details ironed out for the first Celebrity Edge class ship (keel laying should be early next year) I assume RCI will decide how to proceed with something for RCI on that scale. Of course I didn't think RCI would go backwards and resurrect ships like Empress, so the Vision and Radiance ships may linger much longer than the usual 20 year cycle.
