Are WOW band populars?

I was wondering if the wow band are popular these day? In my opinion they are sort of convenient and the cost is very little compare to the price you paid for your vacation but I still having a hard time thinking they are that popular.

I am not sure what "popularity" has to do with it, but....

 

I like mine. I'm wearing it right now. As I look around, I don't see many other people wearing theirs. Not sure if that's because there is now a charge, or if they don't like them.

We were on the Quantum last year and loved our WOW bands. Very convenient without having your card around your neck or fumbling for it in your purse or pocket. Of course, they were free then.

They don't seem to be 'popular' now that there is a charge.

 

So now just think of them like speciality restaurants and the like. If they appeal and are worth it to you, pick one up.

I didn't like mine at all on Quantum. I found them very uncomfortable to wear, and I perspired under them. I wouldn't use them again, especially now that there is a fee

Yes, that was one of the points for the band.

Only on Quantum and Anthem. It has been announced they will also be on Harmony. For the ships that have them, yes they also act as a room key.

...and to purchase stuff. The WOW band can do everything the SeaPass card can do except get you off the ship at the end of the cruise.

The WOW bands need a different type of lock on the doors so I would imagine only the ships being built for the future. I use them at Disney many times, and it makes no difference to me whether I have it or not, but it is more convenient for certain times like swimming etc. When you get the WOW band, you also have a card key. So it's nice to have the option.
