Adventure of the Seas - Secret/s?

They dropped off my bottle of run in my room mid day on the last day (sea day) and I could have easily drank for free the whole night.

Also they scanned our bag and told us to go drop off our bottle of rum at the far end of the entry hall. There are two staircases and elevators between these two points (and the guy who collects the booze does communicate with the searcher so I can't see how they know you have booze). Not recommending you forget to drop off the bottle but the set up seemed easy to get around if you wanted.

Being a non-smoker - one thing I never picked up - was wondering if RCCL okays smoking on your room balcony.

It's been awhile since we have cruised and I know this has been a hot topic in the past. Just wondering, not trying to pass judgment. I know I can always close the door:).

Smoking is not allowed on any balcony.

Yes that is correct.

Also kind of secret...Gym locker rooms have a free sauna, steam room, and very large showers for anyone to use free of charge. Discovered this a few years ago on my own and have investigated/used them on every cruise since.

The wet sauna in the mens locker room is a favorite after working out. Rarely more than 1 or two people in there. Very relaxing.

Smoking on balcony

As Jan. 1,2014 smoking is no longer allowed on the balconies.

If someone does, most likely they will be turned in by one of their neighbors.

Those who disobey

1st time - warning

2nd time - fine

3rd time - pack your bags because you're leaving the ship at the next port.

RCL takes their smoking policy very seriously.

That's Great. Like Button if there was one.

Maybe not a secret, but the best bartenders as a group work the Champagne Bar. Really a great group.

The Martini Class is worth the price and really, really fun.

Lastly, we did the Chef's table and found it to be excellent.

Enjoy your cruise.

How much was the Chef's table and what did they serve? Would it be appropriate for a 14 y/o? Going this summer with our granddaughter, and looking for something different to do with her.

Is this the same for both the men's and women's locker rooms?
