Hi ,

I have booked a Guaranty Suite on Celebrity Constellation.

I was assigned a Accessible Suite.

Could someone tell me if it is a good thing.

It has a larger shower, a sink very

low and a higher toilet.

I didn't expect to be assigned an Accessible suite if not

in need of one. Is this an upgrade????

not really an upgrade.

 

Normally a bit bigger cabin too.

 

Whenever you book a guarantee you could get any grade within the category.

 

Clearly not all accessible's were booked.

it is NOT an upgrade. some people are fine with the differences. others are not.

 

you were assigned that cabin because after final payment had passed, no one had called to request the room and it became available for anyone to book.

Some folks will think the added space is a plus. I don't particularly care for the HC bathrooms, because of the grab bars, and higher toilet. But, you will have more space than the same category cabin that isn't HC!

The showers are roll in for wheelchairs and on on Conne the bathroom floor will flood. I don't think what you got is an upgrade just for that alone.

I don't know how soon your cruise is, but if you feel you aren't going to like the cabin, you can call Celebrity and see if they will change you to another cabin.

It never hurts to ask.
