ALL things Liberty of th Seas

Does Liberty have a magnifying mirror in the room or bathroom or should I bring my own?

Thanks!

Bring your own. I haven't stayed on an RC ship, been on 16, with a magnifying mirror. I don't stay in GS and above though.

When comparing prices, remember that Southwest does not charge for the first two bags.

They don't charge for bags, they don't charge to change a ticket to another flight or date or even to cancel a flight, and they will, like David says, refund the difference if a ticket goes down. We like SW a lot!

In Houston, the SW bonus is that Hobby is closer to Galveston than to IAH Bush.

However, on our April 23rd cruise, our Owner's Suite buds didn't get Jorge' to escort them from Schooner until we were already through customs in the Self Assist crowd. So we got in our car ahead of them and were almost through Houston by the time they got theirs. So you never know.

Karen, I'll be watching for your assessment as you get off Vision the day we go.

On 4/30 cruise suites were not escorted out until after group 3, concierge lied about the reason said bags were not there yet, hope I never sail with him again, RCCL gave me different reason after I complained

If that was Carlos, he's no longer with RC

We're also SW fans. Keep checking the price after booking, I've found 2 price drops for our Sept cruise.

They don't do refunds really, it's a credit to use in the next year.

You are right. I take it any way they offer it!

SW commercial,....due to a medical emergency we had to change our last cruise flights at the last minute to the day of the cruise. No change fees. Total cost for 2 of us was $140. And if we had had to cancel we could have gotten a credit good for a year. Any other airline would have started at $350 for change fees plus the additional cost of the flight. We always fly SW unless they don't fly where we are going. Plus I can pack what I want!

And you are right if prices drop you can get a credit good for a year.

We try to book flights the day they open for cruises.

We will be sailing on this ship in 116 days. There will be at least 10 of us and we are looking forward to see how our 3 older grandsons will react. Doing the Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel route.

That's our route on August 20

That's the same itinerary we are doing in December. We have been there before but look forward to being there again. [emoji2]

We have a Liberty cruise upcoming in August. I shopped airfare for weeks because I found it to be much higher than our Florida cruises. We like SW as well and I was able to get SW into HOU for the cruise, but the flights back to our location did not work out so well. The cheaper flights were too early and the later flights were REALLY late. I wound up getting United coming back. It is a different airport, but even with the baggage fees it was priced better than SW at the time of day we needed. Moral: check into one way fares with multiple airlines. You might be able to put together a better price that way. don't forget to factor in transportation costs. We wound up with a Galveston Limo shuttle.
