ALL things Liberty of th Seas

Recommended Posts

Have the balcony rooms been refurbished? New carpets or decor? I have seen different pics and unsure

Thanks

Not really, but most things are in good repair. The additions to the ship are great. Totally redid even floors of the promenade.

I just booked Liberty 9638. JS next to elevators. Will this be a problem with noise?

Nope, we've been near there several times, and had no issues with noise from the elevator area.

We stumbled upon the "Card Room" last cruise. It was a decent sized room with board & card games, set up with tables & chairs as well as sofa type seating. My family loves to play cards when we're together, and the several times we were in there, it was always busy, but seats were available. Anyone else venture here?

Many do. All RC ships have them.

The card room used to be the Concierge Lounge before the Suite Lounge on deck 14 was added.

I hopei'm posting correctly on here. Just wanted to give a heads up tau Amazon Prime Day has some great deals on travel items. Just search for "travel" under Prime Day. I bought a travel-size Woolite pack with sink stopper, air space travel bags, RFID passport and credit card holder, waterproof duffle bag and first aid kit. I also did subscribe and save for Downey wrinkle remover and Neutrogena sunscreen (not sure those items are prime day only). Anyway, cheap cruise items for our LOS adventure in Dec!

Fortunately, we'll have access to both lounges next cruise. We be plus after Vision and we're in a suite:hearteyes: Now If I could just make the casino behave like they do when you're around;p

Just heard from friends aboard LB that the card reader on the door to the suite lounge FINALLY works. Unfortunately, it appears to also work with Diamond Plus cards! The never-ending saga continues.

There is a sign outside the entrance that clearly states "Gold Cards only"

Indeed it does. That link will take you to a review I wrote of the suite lounge, and the sign was immediately outside the door. We were on the 25 June 2017 sailing, and we had access to the Suite Lounge since we were in a Grand Suite. The key card reader worked well; they did check to make sure you had a gold Sea Pass card.

I am well aware of the "gold cards only" sign. Many have chosen to totally ignore it ever since LB changed from concierge lounge to suite lounge. It has been a going joke with some of us about the card reader not working after more than 2 years from the change to a suite lounge. It has been so frustrating to the concierge to have to run people out who do not have gold cards. Anyway, it is at least partially fixed. Who knows. Maybe it will be totally working properly when next we sail Aug. 27.
