Breaking News - C&A Changes/Enhancements

No more Welcome Back (repeaters) Party on any ship. The Trials with this, on two ships back in February (?), was considered a success. Top Tier will continue.

 

Meal with an Officer will be for D+ (340) only and Pinnacles will have a meal at the Captain's Table or Specialty Rest. with the Capt. or HD.

 

No change in Tiers or Points structure.

 

Some other benefits for D+ and Pinnacles that I could not get the precise details.

The one thing I will miss on the ships that have converted to SL/DL is not being

able to go back and forth between both lounges (if one is more crowded than the

other) and especially if one is out of milk in the coffee machine during my morning

Latte search, then I could usually go to the other one to find it. :(

Exactly, crowds are a problem. Be careful what you ask for. Hope RCCL is still reading. Maybe an adjustment to the program will be helpful in eliminating over crowded in the exclusive lounges.

So what does that have too do, with God Forgive, should RCCL adjust your status to eliminate overcrowding in the lounges.

 

The status, I gather the 3 FREE Drinks, are the issue. If they took away your FREE drinks would it eliminate over crowding.

 

Someone posted a RUMOR, it is going to 3000+ posts..... You are so worried about the status ...

All ships were notified two days ago so that they could prepare for the changes.

 

Sorry, but I will not reveal my source. Believe it or not. I'm still trying to find additional details, but combine this info with that from CruisenGrandmom

on Liberty and I think the CL-->SL on all ships is imminent.

 

It does make sense to cut out the welcome back party. As more and more passengers were qualifying, the event was getting bigger and bigger and no longer a "special event".

I don't think welcome backs were ever a C&A benefit, just returning cruiser. I traveled before I signed up for C&A and was invited to a Welcome Back event.

 

So, how would you suggest RCCL does about over crowding in the Diamond and CL/SL lounges? Do you think C&A members should have priority over Suite guest?
