Groan. ;) As you know, that's the best compliment a pun can get.

No. It's the best condiment a pun can get.

I got a good laugh from my calendar. It shows Cinco de Mayo on May 6th!

Brilliant, and for somebody in the Antipodes who has never heard of the 5th of May as a special day (and, wow, how special!), this gave both a laugh and a history lesson as I then had to google the real significance. Fabulous. Thank you.:D

Once upon a time there was an atlantic salmon who lived in the cold waters near a loch in Scotland. His name was Rusty. One of those inquisitive fish. Getting into everything. Anyhow, one day he went swimming... a lot farther than ever before. He went far and also much deeper... way out into the wide North Atlantic. He started to find wrecks on the bottom and he would swim all through them and found them very interesting.

One day he found a very large wreck. It was a large wreck of an ocean liner. He spent days swimming all through the wreck and was amazed at the beauty of the ship and even thought it was a wreck it was still beautiful, sitting so serene on the sandy bottom of the ocean.

Some months later he got back home and he thought about that great ocean liner and he decided to write a book. Eventually the book was published and even today you can find it in most book shops. You can also get it on Amazon.com. Just look for it: 'Titanic Verses' by Salmon Rusty.

Never heard that one before. Very good.

Thanks for my first belly laugh of the day.
