Gunwale Posted June 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2016 I do not have to fly to my next cruise and so will not be limited to airline baggage allowance. Does Celebrity have luggage restrictions on number of bags for checked in and carry on? I am aware of restricted storage space.

Grandmaanne7 Posted June 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Celebrity does not limit luggage and since you are aware of cabin limitations, pack accordingly. Enjoy! Sent from my SM-G530W using Tapatalk
dkjretired Posted June 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Be advised that the cabins are not available until 1pm or so. You will have to keep your carry-one with you until then.

cb at sea Posted June 26, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2016 You could bring a steamer trunk, if you wanted to! You are really only restricted if you have a flight!
Jack Staff Posted June 26, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Thank you -I thought there would be no real restriction other than ones own problem when taking carry on bags.

Most people over pack. I use to. Making a responsible list eliminates this:cool:
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted June 27, 2016 #10 Share Posted June 27, 2016 The t&c does say 90kg 90kg per person?!? We ran out of storage space in our cabin with under 30kgs per person - and some of that was Christmas gifts that stayed in our suitcases until it was time to deliver them. Jack Staff Posted June 27, 2016 #11 Share Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) I travel light typically with under 18Kg of luggage and one bag. 90Kg!!!! Do people take the kitchen sink??? I take it that the max for any one case would be 32Kg (H&S applies) Edited June 27, 2016 by Jack Staff

I take it that the max for any one case would be 32Kg (H&S applies) Some people use the transatlantic cruises to move from continent to continent. When you consider the cost of shipping your things + airfare it would be a much more relaxing and economical way to travel if the schedules worked out. Celebrity Cruises Posted June 27, 2016 #16 Share Posted June 27, 2016 I do not have to fly to my next cruise and so will not be limited to airline baggage allowance.Does Celebrity have luggage restrictions on number of bags for checked in and carry on? I am aware of restricted storage space. Each guest is permitted to carry a reasonable amount of personal property (including luggage) aboard the vessel; however, for your comfort and convenience, it is recommended that you limit the number of pieces you take. Nashna Posted June 27, 2016 #17 Share Posted June 27, 2016 We just got our luggage tags mailed to us from Celebrity. We received 4 tags each. That equates to 8 pieces of luggage per stateroom for a couple.
Cancruz Posted June 27, 2016 #18 Share Posted June 27, 2016 (edited) We check our luggage and carry on, and use a backpack on boarding for valuables - no problems. Edited June 27, 2016 by Cancruz
Rare cruisestitch Posted June 27, 2016 #19 Share Posted June 27, 2016 Some people travel light, some pack heavy, neither really impacts me so I don't much care what others do. I did one time ,eat a person who was moving from .shanghai to vancouver and had more than ten suitcases and packing cases with him, which he described as "all his worldly possessions. This was on a transpacific cruise a couple of years ago. And once I was a table with some big art collectors in South America who had actually booked an extra inside stateroom for all their purchases. On board catering at its best? Edited June 28, 2016 by Jack Staff
