Best place for sail away?

We will be sailing on the Equinox in March 2017 from Port Everglades. We are booked in an inside cabin. Where do you suggest the best location is for sail away?

We enjoyed sitting at the tables near the sunset bar. Great place for pre-dinner drinks after a day of seeing the sights.

I would suggest the level overlooking the pool. That way, you would be able to hear the band playing while enjoying a view of leaving port. We sit in the loungers as usually it has been a long day to that point. From Port Everglades, I would be on the Port (left) side.

If it is a late enough sail away try Tuscan Grill and those wonderful rear views.

Bonus of this is you should be able to negotiate a really good price, especially if dining early and you miss the first night chaos of the MDR.

If you sail away is too early for Tuscan would agree with the Sunset bar!

Love those sail always from Fort Lauderdale! Have a wonderful cruise!

Sunset Bar is great for most sail aways. However, if you are sailing out of a really majestic place like Venice, Sydney or NYC, you might enjoy the outside deck above the pool deck so you can see the whole city well from one spot.

Honestly, we almost always book the opening slot 6pm? We do this on whatever sailing we do now and request a window seat. We have done this world wide which has been from dark to late afternoon light....They will not usually guarantee you a window seat unless you book the early slot.

It works best when you sail at about 5/5.30 pm and either dress and then go on deck or dress and then sail away from the balcony and then go up for your meal.

A genuinely really great way to start a cruise.

Hope you have a wonderful cruise Jimini 1955!
