SuiteTraveler Posted August 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2016 If you have the dining package it is still included with that. It is only al la carte if you don't have the dining package.

esm54687 Posted August 14, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Cagney's menu: http://www.beyondships2.com/uploads/8/2/4/5/8245255/cr_207_cagney.jpg If going al a carte then add 18% to your bill...... BTW: Ribeye is either 16oz $19 or bone--in 18oz $
tinkr2 Posted August 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2016 The only steak that is 25 is the 32 oz porterhouse. I believe the sides are 2 bucks each. If you are not a huge eater, you could have a nice meal for 25 excluding tip.

Shawnino Posted August 14, 2016 #14 Share Posted August 14, 2016 What is a Tomahawk? Big piece of steak (the "head" of the axe) presented on a long rib bone (the "handle"). Bone-in.
hawkeyetlse Posted August 14, 2016 #15 Share Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) NCL says Cagney's is "Al a Carte" Does anyone have a photo of the menu with prices? If you're asking about the Breakaway, the menu is probably not going to be the one that BirdTravels posted, but the new à la carte menu that can be found here. But if you do get the menu with the Tomahawk, order it! Cajun seasoned, rare :) Edited August 14, 2016 by hawkeyetlse

Is this something you can order "off menu" or is it no longer available?
hawkeyetlse Posted August 15, 2016 #17 Share Posted August 15, 2016 I doubt they would have that unusual cut ready to cook just in case someone ordered it off menu. You could try asking a few days before your reservation if they can somehow produce one for you.
NMLady Posted August 15, 2016 #18 Share Posted August 15, 2016 OK, same exact menu I posted back on #4 and Tomahawk is not on the menu. Is this something you can order "off menu" or is it no longer available? Is the menu in post #7 not a current menu? It has the tomahawk on it. It also has lobster, not just lobster tail on it. Which is correct for Cagneys, the menu in post 7 or the one in post 4??
hawkeyetlse Posted August 15, 2016 #19 Share Posted August 15, 2016 Both are current, it depends on the ship.
NMLady Posted August 15, 2016 #20 Share Posted August 15, 2016 Both are current, it depends on the ship. Thank you. We will be on the Jade, but not until the end of October. The menus easily could change before then.
hawkeyetlse Posted August 15, 2016 #21 Share Posted August 15, 2016 I am fairly certain that the Jade has the "Tomahawk" menu and it won't change until after dry dock next year, but I don't actually remember what I heard to make me think that. Best advice is probably not to have your heart set on any one menu item (or any other specific detail of your cruise) months in advance, because we all know where that can lead…

hawkeyetlse Posted August 15, 2016 #23 Share Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) does anyone know where there might be a copy of Cagney's dessert menu? There are a couple of different ones. You can find the one from the Escape on Beyondships (but the prices for the after-dinner drinks are probably out of date). And here's the one from the Star (which has the "Tomahawk" menu): Edited August 15, 2016 by hawkeyetlse

I know you're right about not counting on specific details for the cruise. I've seen too many changes to count on anything remaining the same. xkritter Posted August 27, 2016 #25 Share Posted August 27, 2016 We were on the Jade in March of this year and the Tomahawk was on the menu then. I'm hoping the Epic has it on their menu in November because we didn't get it in March and now my son really wants to try it.
