One more bit of information before I turn in. This cruise is our Elite qualifier. It was my understanding we would have received our Elite pins at the conclusion of the cruise. When we checked in at the pier, we received our pins and black cards. I was a little confused because at the start of the cruise we had 14 cruise credits and 131 days at sea with Princess.....

Hi Bob!

You lucky guy. Enjoy the Caribbean Princess. Jak and I took it to Europe in April for 3 weeks from TX and had a great time. Hope you have a fantastic time sailing home. All the best to you and Holli. Did you get any Fish and Chips in Southampton.

Maybe that was Princess trying to make up a bit for your Owner's Suite on the Royal [emoji6] BTW, on the Majestic they are now Cat S3 Penthouse suites.

I am enjoying your "Live from". I am cruising to Norway and Iceland in 2017. Can you write a few words about the sea conditions? I know weather and seas can be just about anything at any time so I am hoping we both get to experience smooth seas.

All the best

Good morning from the Caribbean Princess. IT is 0735 local time as we make our way to Rotterdam. I have to wake Holli in a bit because we have to go to a mandatory "Non EU" passport immagration lecture. Since we have a private excursion planned before 1300 hrs our scheduled time is 0830. I ws hoping we would have a later time so I could enjoy Sabatinis, which opens at 0730, for breakfast. With having to make sure Holi is up and ready to go for 0830, I had to have a quick breakfast in the Horizon Court.

The breakfast in the HC was about average. The hot items were to my liking as they were hot when served. One thing I noticed for the first time is there are cards on all of the tables requesting that you vacate the tables when you are finished with your meal. I'm a little skeptical that Princess will enforce this request as they seem to be lacking in even enforcement on a like request involving chair hogs.

Our private excursion today is a private vehicle tour set up by another couple. I am looking forward to it as we will be able to do what we want at our own speed.

I'll ckeck in later after our return from the excursion.

Take Care.....:):):)

Bob, hope you and Holli have a wonderful trip. It was a long time coming but it's here now. So enjoy.

Thanks Dave. It was a very long time coming. The several near cancellations we encountered will make actually being on this cruise that much more special.....:):):)

Following along and enjoying your Live from. Looking forward to hearing about the ports, especially, Iceland as we're on a TA next Sept from Southampton to New York with 3 Iceland ports.

Also curious about the 'non-EU' passport holder lecture, as although UK resident still traveling on US passport and haven't run into anything like this before.

Good evening all from the Caribbean Princess. Holli & I just got back onboard from our day long private excursion in Rotterdam. We did a private excursion arranged by another couple. We toured the Windmills at Kinderdijk, The Hague and town of Delft. We saw a lot of great sights and had a very good day ashore. On the way back, we were shown some of the different sights of Rotterdam before we made our way back to the CB.

Right now, we are getting ready to head to the CG for our free dinner. Looking forward to a good steak tonight. Earlier today, I went to the HC for breakfast and found the food to be acceptable. After dinner we may just head back to the room as the Casino and shops will still be closed since we don’t depart Rotterdam till 2200 tonight. Gotta rest up for our Meet & Greet which will be tomorrow on our first sea day. It will be great to finally put some faces to people I’ve gotten to know in the cyber world for the last year and a half.

Today’s entertainment was/is as follows:

Movies shown throughout the day were The Hundred Foot Journey, Jurassic World, Elton John in Concert, and Dark Horse.

Entertainment throughout the day in the Piazza consisted of Guitar Melodies with Renan Penado, Midday Melodies with the Elegy Duo (several times), and Piano favorites with Chris Jankowski.

The Wheelhouse bar hosted Jonathan Carter for a Piano Cocktails hour two different times. Guitar & Vocal entertainer Alvaro Riso performed from 2300 untill closing. Alvaro also performed at 2030. There was also ballroom dance music performed by the Princess Orchestra at 2115.

The Princess Theater hosted Folkloric Showtime: Ancorra at 1900 and 2030 (screwy times).

Singer and Piano Entertainer John Randall performed in Crooners from 2115 onwrds.

Not much more for now. Might pop back in when we get back from the CG.

Take Care…..:):):)

Hi Woobstr112G,

I am boarding the Caribbean Princess on September 22nd so I will just miss you. I wonder if you can give me the names of the Cruise Staff if you are able.....I like to bring little gifts to them especially if I have sailed with them a few times before. Enjoy your cruise and keep up the great Live from.

Thanks,

Joyce
