Clarea Posted October 6, 2016 #26 Share Posted October 6, 2016 I just saw that now as well....finger's crossed they honor the prices that were showing earlier...my cruise planner is showing the new pricing...and the reps could see it as well...so hopefully it stays... Ken at the beach Posted October 6, 2016 #27 Share Posted October 6, 2016 omg glitch alert- when you book one person in a balcony, you get 60% off that person. I had my son in an interior for $1500 and now he is in a balcony for $1000. Not sure what it works for but try it if you are travelling as a single anywhere. Just saved my Mom over $800 on her solo cabin with us on Allure this January.
Ken at the beach Posted October 6, 2016 #28 Share Posted October 6, 2016 Website all fixed now, lol. That was quick. I'm glad I took half an hour out of work and called this afternoon instead of waiting until tonight.

molly361 Posted October 6, 2016 #30 Share Posted October 6, 2016 I'm glad I took half an hour out of work and called this afternoon instead of waiting until tonight. I learned that the hard way years ago. Waited until I got home for lunch to call for a price drop. GONE!!!!

Rare mcatmcat Posted October 6, 2016 #35 Share Posted October 6, 2016 I basically use that site to study price drops and strategies but I really don't depend on them for alerts. I believe it takes them some time to update the prices. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
TIBTEE Posted October 7, 2016 #36 Share Posted October 7, 2016 I was able to get price drops on 4 different cruises for a total of $1800.:D They are now back up.

NRichard10 Posted October 7, 2016 #38 Share Posted October 7, 2016 I guess I've been lucky, I've gotten 3 price drops on a cruise in December from that site. However, I appreciate the heads up to do some manual checking too. Which site are you referring to for price drop watching?
SaintTaris Posted October 7, 2016 #39 Share Posted October 7, 2016 What sucks is when the prices drop after you've made final payment.

Biker19 Posted October 7, 2016 #47 Share Posted October 7, 2016 thank you!! Be advised, that site only updates prices 2-4 times per day so it may miss quick price swings and it it not a "live" price.
marci22 Posted October 7, 2016 Author #48 Share Posted October 7, 2016 Be advised, that site only updates prices 2-4 times per day so it may miss quick price swings and it it not a "live" price. I still haven't been notified about prices that were lowered on all D categories yesterday. That seems like enough time. And I only noticed yesterday about 10am; it could have been done earlier. There was one quick price swing I missed on a cruise out of Bayonne a couple of years ago. It was a big, big drop. I saw the historical price on fishy, but I never got the email. I wonder if the complicated pricing seems, bogohoax, etc. make it harder for the pricing site to function efficiently.
Pr3dict Posted October 7, 2016 #49 Share Posted October 7, 2016 yeah it is essentially no single supplement. It's the same price to put two people in one room or two singles in two rooms. And double points. Is this always the case or just during the price drop from yesterday?
Clarea Posted October 7, 2016 #50 Share Posted October 7, 2016 Is this always the case or just during the price drop from yesterday? It's usually never the case, but there was a strange pricing anomoly that lasted a short time yesterday.
