Problems to be aware of, on Emerald Princess

We are considering a cruise on the Emerald Princess but I have read that there have been issues both with the air conditioning in some of the staterooms, and also with the plumbing. This is since it's refurbishment in 2015. Is anyone aware of any other problems this ship may be experiencing? Thanks

The same 48 nights for us and no problems with a/c or plumbing in either of the two cabins we had. :)

The Emerald has the new bedding and it is superb. :):)

All ships eventually will have plumbing problems and A/C problems in a few cabins from time to time. Hopefully the staff gets them fixed right the first time. So even if a cabin had a problem a few weeks ago, it doesn't mean it will have a problem again.

Most people don't have the AC or plumbing problems but if you do, it can be a nightmare of a cruise especilly if all the cabins are filled. :(

I'm just happy that they sent the Emerald to Australia. Maybe it'll stay there until they retire it. :D

Is this like sending it to the boon docks or the old folks home?

There is actually a pretty big problem with Emerald Princess. She is currently anchored off New Caledonia and I'm sitting here in California. As far as I'm concerned that is definitely a problem.

As for being sent to Australia to rot and die or whatever: We board Emerald next October 8 in San Pedro. I didn't realize that was now part of Oz...
