If you have a Wow band from a previous cruise you can reuse it. On the Anthem now, guest services reprogrammed my old Wow band for free. It took all of 30 seconds.

 

They did not replace my Wow band so the Muster Station printed on it is wrong.

We bought them on our Harmony cruise and LOVE them. Wish that all of RCCL cruise ships used them. It was so much more convenient when spending time on deck and in pools/hot tubs. Didn't have to worry about the card.

I think you have to remove it so they can scan the back or something like that. I read that when

There were several bars on the Anthem where we didn't have to take the WOW band off (Music Hall, Schooner Bar, Pool Bar, Solarium Bar).

 

The WOW bands are great. So convenient.
