Stupid question sorry, but how do you cash out OBC in the casino?

Use your room key in a slot machine to set up an account to play slots. Download the OBC to your card. Play a couple pulls on the slot and then go to the cage with your key and cash your $$$ out. There are attendants in the casino to help. But now that I think of it you may not be able to cash it out. You may need to spend it all. So I guess I don't know. SORRY

That will work but you might wait a day or two after you play to do it. First time we did it didnt know better and cashed out without playing.

They closed our account and had to get special ok to reinstate it

:D:D:D Sorry, I don't mean to laugh, and I am not being mean about this, but excuse me if I say you had it all perfectly right, and then you screwed it all up by saying you don't know. You need to be more confident. Really, be more assertive. Stick your neck out a bit. And don't apologize. You had it down.

This works if you're a casino player. Casino players with an amount on their Sail and Sign account can take it to the casino cashier and cash it in.

If you haven't played in the casino, this likely won't work.

We followed these steps on our last cruise- it was the one and only time we were in the casino (sorry- I can't handle the cigarette smoke in there)...

• Go to a slot machine in the casino, insert your S&S card and set up a casino account if you haven’t already (just need your name, DOB and your S&S card). Deposit the amount left in cruise cash into your casino account (it always uses cruise cash first before any other money on your account).

• Once the money is in your casino account, you can play some if you want. We didn’t bother after 1 turn each- but we still won $5! Then we just opted to cash out on the slot machine.

• We took our S&S card to the casino cashier and told her we wanted to cash out our account. They gave us the $120 cash (plus $5 we had won!)

Here is a question where I am a little confused. After you create your account and you stick your S&S card in you mention to

"Download your OBC to your card"

How do you do that? does it show how much money you have in OBC and does it ask you if you want to download? Not sure how that works

You enter a dollar amount. So you would enter the amount of OBC you still have. It will then appear as a charge on your S&S account.

Lele- it's been a couple of years since I did this so I'm not sure I recall specifically if it showed you how much cruise cash or OBC, but I do know that I checked my S&S card beforehand and knew that I had $120 in cruise cash left unspent so that's how much I downloaded it to my casino account (which resides on the S&S card). It might be smart to check it first and know how much you want to put on your casino account.

If someone knows/recalls if the casino account shows you if your S&S account amounts are visible, please weigh in here...

When you sit down at the machine, insert your card and set up your account (you'll have to create a 4 digit PIN).

Then you'll press the button that says "Charge to Sail & Sign card". You'll enter whatever dollar amount of OBC you have and it'll ask for your PIN that you just set up (every time you sit down at a machine and choose to charge your card, after the $ amount you'll have to enter your PIN). It will then load that amount of credit to the slot machine. If you chose to do a pull or two, this is where you'd do that. When you're done, press the button that says "Cash out to Player Bank". Once you see the confirmation on the screen, remove your card, take it to the casino cashier and tell them you want to cash out your player bank.

The reason I said I didn't know was because I play in the casino A LOT. I blow thru the OBC the first hour the casino is open. So I've never cashed out any OBC......only my WINNINGS......and I do that at the very last minute on the last night. I wasn't sure if you could cash out OBC or if it was a "use it or lose it" situation.

p.s.....HawkIVette.....Glad I gave you a little chuckle.

I'm so glad this question came up! Last month my husband and I ended up with some leftover OBC, and we didn't know how to get it back in cash. We ended up waiting for a cheque to arrive from Carnival, which was okay, but the cash would have been nice to have right away.

I did the casino thing...loaded the card,, and then was told they were only doing cash-out on the last night... so I played a little more..... and won a fair bit! Happy with that.. I waited till the last night to cash out................... and didn't realize I'd have to present my P I N NUMBER when I asked to cash out at the cage..... lol.. doh... good gawd..... the cashier was nice enough to coax me... and allow me to try any pin I might have used..... and then another... and then another... until i couldn't even guess another..jayZus no LUCK!

LOL ... I started to get very worried ... because .. as well as not remembering the pin, I had trouble loading my card, which I thought was the magnetic strip...

A supervisor was called.... and we tried to open the card with their procedure,, but it just wouldn't read... kept saying card error.. OMG..

She said,, she would have to give me a new card... but unfortunately the data on the card would be lost

WHAT !! lol so I sat there for about the longest 3 minutes in my life... and tried it over and over.. and BOOM!!! it read it. phew.

They allowed me to reset the pin, and paid me out right there! <big sigh of relief>

ok,,, long winded story to remind you to REMEMBER YOUR PIN !! lol

I am not an avid pin or password user... so with very little experience , I still make mistakes. :D:o
