Thank you!

There is no way to just load it to your account, you are going to have to do a transaction of some sort. The only way to load to your account is to buy cruise cash and the limit is 500 per room and  non refundable. Cruise cash is for use when you are onboard. To book excursions at a later date it would be best to leave the money on the gift card, or better yet, buy the gift cards when you want to purchase the excursions.

How long does it take to get a email for purchase gift cards and what does the email look to be opened?

Thanks

For allstate within 10 minutes usually-and I get 2 emails-one saying it's coming and order confirmation  and one where the gift card is attached you can download.

My life is getting stranger.  If I go into My Prizes, it shows that I received 1000 points for completing the crossword.  I didn’t complete the crossword….I didn’t do any of the games today.  No one else has access to my password.

ok it's NOT a 3 letter word.  you have to enter the words that go with the hints  IE sweepstakes & daily deals, then you get another puzzle and 2 hints (and enter those words per the hint)-local offers and auctions

got a 1000 points after trying multiple things UGH

yeah, it looks like a 3 letter word on the bottom, but there is a scroll button so you can see how many letters it is.  Very poorly designed.

Match game was a lot better. And a lot more fun.

Looks like the crossword has replaced the matching game for now. Tried it out and it isn't working well for me. Fortunately I have more points than I can ever use, but won't be doing the crossword again.

Still no Carnival egiftcard and payment is fastly approaching.  I may need to go to plan B and enroll in AARP.  Does anyone have an account and confirm AARP has Carnival eGiftcards in stock/available before I pay for membership.  How fast do AARP egiftcards come through via email?

AARP has 100 and 500 ecards and they have been very consistent lately. They usually arrive via email within 5 minutes, sometimes faster, sometimes a bit slower but nothing major. I bought the 5 year membership for 63 and got back 8 dollars buy buying it with my bofa credit card at the time. I like to buy via Allstate when I can, but they haven been very inconsistent latelty with ecards and regular cards, the latter of I will not buy.

AARP membership is $12.  Chase Freedom and at least one other credit card (CitiCard and/or BOA) have an offer to spend $12 and get an $8 statement credit.

I concur, 1 week ago, 4 $100 e-gift cards within 5 minutes. Note that each comes in a separate email from email @ email.aarp.org

Spin game is back to three tries!

I still didn’t win….

I just played and it slowed down, almost stopped on a $5 gift card, then sped up to go around to the X. 😠 I know they set it not to win often, but they don't have to make it so obvious.

Just don’t do some crazy thing like use the gift card to buy non-refundable cruise cash.

I buy the cruise cash, but not more than I am going to use. This way once on the ship I don’t have to worry about them.  I take the cash out in the slot machine, and my husband will then use it at the tables.

I'm the same way. It's not crazy if you know you're going to use it. And if you know how to cash out in the casino, no harm no foul.

If you ever have trouble getting the e-cards, be sure to check your spam/junk folder.

Your AARP membership also includes one additional membership for someone in your household. They limit Carnival cards to 5/month, but if you have a second member, they can create their own separate AARP Rewards account online to give you 10/month.

Not that I check their site regularly, but ever since they revamped their rewards program a few years ago (and switched Carnival cards to members only), I've only ever seen them run out of e-cards once, and I think that was because they were having technical problems.

Actually, you can get up to 25 Carnival cards per month now, as they are considered " premium " with a separate limit. So in reality if one were to purchase 25 five hundred dollar cards that would be 12500 dollars per month. It also doesn't affect your ability to purchase 5 other gift cards they offer.

Thanks for everyone input.  AARP worked for the Carnival Gift Cards(digital).  Got a small scare as the image and item says Gift Card but fine print says digital and ecard. Decided to purchase anyways and got the email within 5 mins with my egiftcard redemption link same how Allstate delivered Carnival egiftcards when they had them.  Have applied to my balance and purchasing the rest now.  My overall savings will help subsidize Cheers package so I feel less guilty.
