Trainman-2 Posted February 17, 2017 Author #26 Share Posted February 17, 2017 If I ever hit the zillion dollar lotto, I will but a boat like this one.
Trainman-2 Posted February 17, 2017 Author #27 Share Posted February 17, 2017 We had dinner tonight in the Hotel's main dining room (most expensive) which has an Asian Theme. Judith has the Rib Eye which was served well done instead of medium rare. The vegetables were pretty good but the rice was plain boiled rice. I had the Lamb which was excellent with its own unique sauce. (mint jelly was not available) The vegetables were pretty good but the mashed potatoes, although cooked properly, were excessively plain. They lacked some gravy or topping. The plates were cold which caused the food to get cold quickly.
Trainman-2 Posted February 17, 2017 Author #28 Share Posted February 17, 2017 The design and the lines of the "Clarity," tied up outside of the restaurant are impressive. I don't know if it is a refurbished old boat or a new boat built to look like an old boat!
Trainman-2 Posted February 17, 2017 Author #29 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Good afternoon, Hope that you have a great cruise coming up on Saturday. I am currently on Harmony now doing a Live at which can be located at the following link: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2455947  I have been following your post! Great job! Trainman-2 Posted February 17, 2017 Author #30 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Really looking forward to this. Have a great time Jim. Try not to get too angry at the new chairs in the smoking section! We got some new "high tech" rollators and can sit in them in the smoking area on the pool deck. I will post up a photo as soon as we are on board and can get someone to shoot one for us. Trainman-2 Posted February 17, 2017 Author #31 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Glad your trip down was uneventful. Do you stay on 95 or cut over to the turnpike? We'll be making the trip down next February. Thanks for taking us along on the Harmony. Looking forward to your adventure! Cathy & Jim We stayed on I-95 and kept the Cruise Control set at 80 mph and were still being passed regularly! Traffic is almost always "light" all of the way down to West Palm Beach and then it gets heavy. The farther south you go, the more "cut throat" the local drivers become.

LisaT91403 Posted February 17, 2017 #35 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Always enjoy your reviews, Jim. We were on Harmony in December, and my 8 year old recommends the following for Lyric: 1. Get a Shirley Temple at the Bionic Bar. 2. Go on the Abyss many times. 3. Go on the waterslides many times. 4. Watch the ice skating shows (both), the "funny" aqua show, and Columbus the Musical. Enjoy!
Ken at the beach Posted February 17, 2017 #36 Share Posted February 17, 2017 The design and the lines of the "Clarity," tied up outside of the restaurant are impressive. I don't know if it is a refurbished old boat or a new boat built to look like an old boat! She's for sale, only $12,900,000. Built in 2015. http://iyc.com/yachts/clarity/

sg1phileshipper Posted February 17, 2017 #39 Share Posted February 17, 2017 There were three ships in port when we arrived. We could not identify the RCI ship but it sailed about 7:30 pm I looked it up and from what I found, it must have been Indy. Thanks for doing a live review, Jim. Trainman-2 Posted February 17, 2017 Author #42 Share Posted February 17, 2017 The last ship from yesterday (with t he"C" on its funnel) departed while we slept and a new ship came in about 5:00 am and rotated in the turning basin as I was out on our balcony. Trainman-2 Posted February 17, 2017 Author #44 Share Posted February 17, 2017 The ship that just came in has backed in and tied up at the RCI Terminal. My little pocket camera, a Nikon Coolpix A900 does a surprisingly good job taking photos at night when I set it on the railing of our balcony and try to hold it still while the lense is open.
