After the Luncheon we made our way to the casino for the first slot tournament of the cruise. Utilizing our BOGO entries, we gave it our best shot but did not qualify for the finals.

At 3pm it was time for our 2nd session of LCR, and today we have another big crowd on hand……

Patti really likes the fruit plate, which she brings back to the cabin…..

IMG_1312-XL.jpg

It was a great meal with great service. As we leave Patti takes this shot of the bar in David’s Steakhouse…..

IMG_1314-XL.jpg

Here are a couple of shots of Patti and I that the Hostess took…….

IMG_1315-XL.jpg

IMG_1317-XL.jpg

We were now stuffed and getting sleepy, so after a short walk around the ship, we headed back to the cabin for the night. For those that want to know, the show in the Taj Mahal was the Playlist Production of “Getaway Island”. Mark Hawkins and Diane Ford were still playing at Punchliners.

Here is tonight’s turndown service and towel animal……

Coming up next: Our first visit ever to Costa Rica!!!

Jamman, You mentioned that you received two orders are mushrooms as your app in the steakhouse. Are you able to order more than one without a charge? If so, can you mix and match? I.e. one crabcake and one Escargot? Also, is this in addition to you choosing a salad?

I have been doing a little homework on this. I do not have first hand experience with this, but it seems to me you can get seconds of anything BUT the "Main Course". Again do not quote me on this but it seems this way from what I have read.

I always order two appetizers at the Steakhouse without a problem. A second entrée will cost you $20, but I couldn't even eat a second entrée if I tried! :D

Jamman, great review on your cruise I just wish it was the Splendor. Our Journeys cruise will be 14 days in Alaska in '18, only 500+ days to go:(.

Thanks for reading!! Love the Splendor. We will be doing a 14 day Journeys cruise to Hawaii in October of 18 on her. I do have two Splendor reviews in my signature.

Jamman, great review!!! We will be on the Pride in October. I was wondering how busy the Red Frog Pub is. I enjoy playing shuffleboard and wondered if it was always in use. Thanks!!

Thanks for reading!! The RFP is very busy in the evening because they have a live band in there just about every night. It's less crowded in the afternoon.

Hi all!

Jamman54 ~ so glad I found your amazing review today so early on! Loving it so far & can hardly wait for the rest of it. (y)

Wow, you sure had a big group for LCR. I had a great time playing it on the Vista TA, even came from behind to win once!

Thanks so much to you & Patti for such a good read!

You are such a nice looking couple! I am keeping fingers crossed that we will be able to cruise together some YEAR! I am looking forward to having a Caribbean Colada with Patti! Interesting you had the Diamond lunch in the MDR. We had ours last year in David's. Maybe your cruise had too many Diamond pax to fit there. It was nice because the Captain and all the officers sat at a long table right next to us. Only problem was that the sun was shining thru the whale tail and I swear, I thought my hair was going to burn from the "solar heat." :o

That looks like fun!

So happy to see your review, makes me think of the good times. I am in the slot picture and LCR which I won the first game we played. I also got a tee shirt for the slot pull. Got our group $100. On the wheel. My picture has blonde hair and always from the back.

Jeff can correct me but I think there were 143 diamond on our cruise. It was rare to see a blue or red card.

Thanks for reading and your kind words! LCR was a blast. We played on all 7 sea days, and the pots were always around $100. :D

Thanks Karry! I'm sure that we will get to cruise together someday! There's plenty of room on the Conquest or Splendor!! :D

Jeff, Lunch and Dinner looks YUMMY.

Barb, both meals were awesome! Patti had to roll me out of David's!! :D
