Krazy Kruizers Posted March 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Is anyone having troubles with looking at itineraries on HAL's site today, 3/21/17? I have tried IE and Chrome and can not do any "Planning".
bellebaby Posted March 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2017 I had problems with the HAL site crashing on Chrome today. Switched to Microsoft Edge and it worked much better. B
Krazy Kruizers Posted March 21, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Thank you - I will try that. I am starting to check itineraries for the Bon Voyages that I will be starting to do in a few days.
dfish Posted March 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2017 I kept getting messages that the site was not responding on my tablet. Switched to the phone and was able to get in. They did an update last night. Seems like they've been having quite a bit of tech trouble lately.
Rare styles27 Posted March 21, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Their site is painful. No matter which computer, tablet or phone I use it's slow, or I get stuck. I was hoping the down time for maintenance last night would fix it. No such luck. It's the only site I have trouble on. So I know it's not my equipment. lol
Rare boards Posted March 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2017 A little slow, but I spent a couple of hours this today checking a number of cruises we might be interested in with the new promotion programme and it did work and I was able to get the information I was looking for. Rare MVPinBoynton Posted March 21, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 21, 2017 I have been on the site a lot today and Chrome just wasn't cutting it. I was surprised that Edge worked fine. I rarely used it, but might use it more in the future now.
Rare kazu Posted March 21, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 21, 2017 KK, it was excruciating slow for me today. I think I waited 1/2 hour to finish my Bon Voyage thread. I used Chrome, IE and Edge and the results were the same. It may be because of their updates yesterday? (they had a notice last night). Hopefully it improves dramatically by tomorrow. If it is any encouragement, I don't usually wait that long for the HAl site to work, so hopefully, it will be ok tomorrow. (yn)
iflyrc5 Posted March 21, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Probably because they are having to update the site with all the Eurodam cancellations.
Daisyloo Posted March 21, 2017 #10 Share Posted March 21, 2017 I couldn't get in to the HAL site for most of today. I tried again just recently and I could. Still slower than normal but at least I could get in.
Krazy Kruizers Posted March 21, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Yesterday I was on HAL's site a few times and didn't have any problems. I read the note about HAL going to be down last night. Now the site is worse than ever.
cwd79 Posted March 22, 2017 #12 Share Posted March 22, 2017 I just tried to purchase shore excursions for our upcoming Alaska cruise in May and site keeps saying my credit card info wasn't accurate. I tried three different ones and there is no issue with any of the cards but says for me to keep trying. I will try again tomorrow :(
