Rare jimbo5544 Posted March 26, 2017 #152 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Nice review and pics. Thanks, we are a little disappointed with another tervis tumbler, would have preferred the night light, but better than some other recent ones. Micahs Grandad Posted March 26, 2017 #153 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Ben was the Piano singer as per one of party that actually made it there. He is one of their best. Wonder what he thinks of the layout of the bar? As I recall fewer seats than their other ones and suspect it is the regulars sitting around the bar who do most of the tipping. I love the decor.
firemanbobswife Posted March 26, 2017 Author #155 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Some more Havana pictures. This was my favorite place on the ship if you didn't know. They were very good about booting out those that weren't supposed to be there and at night after 7pm when it was open to everyone, it did get a little busy but not bad and no one got rowdy thank goodness. Hey, I wouldn't have hesitated to yell from my balcony [emoji4].
firemanbobswife Posted March 26, 2017 Author #156 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Too much glass around this ship. Makes it hard to get good pics of the ocean without salt spray blocking your view. I don't like that at all. Maybe it's to deter people from "Falling" overboard? Slim chance of that from the sides since you'll end up on deck 5. No chance from Havana due to the glass walls. So I guess they will have to "Fall" from a Cove Balcony unless they enclose those too eventually.
firemanbobswife Posted March 26, 2017 Author #157 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Some other places around the ship One thing I don't understand is why they don't have a bar in the Limelight Lounge. The waiters had to go next door to the Sports Bar to get drinks. It really was distracting when the doors kept opening.

firemanbobswife Posted March 26, 2017 Author #160 Share Posted March 26, 2017 The card the room steward put in the electric thingy in lieu of the paper I had in there. He said paper was a fire hazard. I hate that system because if you don't leave some type of card in it, the lights and outlets don't work. I even confirmed the outlet thing with my RS. He said AC works, but no lights or outlets. However the bathroom light will still work with no card. I yanked it on my friend hoping it would turn the lights off on her while she was in there to no avail [emoji56].
firemanbobswife Posted March 26, 2017 Author #161 Share Posted March 26, 2017 No more rectangular flusher. It's a button. Not sure how I feel about that. I kind of miss when one side of the other one would stick and you had to push it twice. A small button downplays the importance of that function. LOL. firemanbobswife Posted March 26, 2017 Author #162 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Shower. I really like the grab handle not only for when the ship hits rough waters, but for when you need a little steadying of your own even when the ship isn't moving. If you know what I mean [emoji6]
firemanbobswife Posted March 26, 2017 Author #163 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Havana robe. LOVED it! Little clothespin holder I got on Amazon (3 for $8) after seeing a post here on CC where someone recommend it. Super idea! Tiny little garbage can as I mentioned before. There's no making this your personal beer bucket and not a big area to aim for if you can't make it to bow to the Porcelain God. Just a public service announcement so keep this in mind my fellow party animals!

Super idea! IMG] Thank you so much for your excellent review! As a Type A person that needs everything its its place, this is the third best cruise travel item idea, after packing cubes and over the door shoe hanger, that I have read on CC. I HATE having anything on the floor of the shower it just grosses me out but sometimes I need to put the shampo or shaving cream there. I am going to look and order this week while at work. It was very nice to have everything in it's place without having to try and balance things on the bar where you turn the water on and off! This was my first time using one of these. I have to give credit to whoever brought it to my attention.
