Do you know if the internet onboard is good enough for Skype? We are joining the ship in Abu Dhabi. Thank you in advance.

 

 

I think you should be able to skype at least at off hours. I haven't tried but have seen people chatting on phone.

Really enjoying the updates on your journey. Quick question, I hear they have changed the drink packages, can you confirm this or maybe get some photos of what the list now contain, i.e the classic and the premier packages? Thanks

Stopped by guest relations. They confirmed the changes. No increase in price but changed the items included and now only charge difference over $9 for both beer, wine and cocktails

Thanks for posting the drink leaflet. I just wish X were consistent in their documents, official posts and website - what it must be like for the staff onboard trying to understand all these changes is unimaginable. You can definitely understand why you can obtain items on drink packages on one ship and not on others.

Wonderful 2 days at sea. It was nice to just relax after a busy visit to India. Bonus was we turned our clock back 1 1/2 hour time change last night. Seas have been smooth for the entire cruise, you hardly feel you are on a ship.

 

Temperatures have been between 75 - 90 today but very humid. Interesting to see how it changes as we approach Oman.

Just asked the CCH. About 400 Elites, 160 Elite Plus and 8 Zeniths. They are using vouchers on this cruise (300, 150 and 10) and will also on the next.

Good to hear. In my naivety, I thought it would be hot and dry. This is our first visit to this area of the world and have lots to learn.

 

It was a really nice day at sea today with temperatures moderating and humidity lower to what we have experienced up until now. There was a nice breeze and the seas with a tiny bit of chop, at least you know your on a ship. Up until now it has been like a lake.
