Haven Question

Are Haven cabins available when you board? If not, what time can you expect access? Thanks.

Eric

Boarding starts before all cabins are ready. So, it depends on what time you board. They try to have them ready as soon as possible, but it depends on how early or late the last people left and how they left the room (clean or trashed). If you are in Haven, they will escort you to lunch in the Haven dining room and they should be ready after you eat.

But if you board in the 1-2pm timeframe, your room should be ready.

As far as lunch, we were given the option of Haven restaurant, sliders & fries in Haven lounge, or Margaritaville (free that day for Haven guests).

Every time we have boarded with a suite or Haven, we have been able to immediately go to the private area to eat/ be introduced to our butler/concierge (if we didn't meet them when checking in). The last cruise (Escape), our cabin was not yet ready, but they let us drop our luggage in the cabin before heading to the Haven lounge (the restaurant did not open until noon, and we boarded around 11.) Snacks/drinks were available, though, so no worries!

Congratulations on scoring the Haven....you will love it; but it does make it almost impossible to go back to a regular stateroom! NCL does a great job with the Haven!

Thanks for the quick responses everyone. NCL accepted our bid and we were upgraded to the Haven for our May 16th cruise.

Remember, now that you are in the Havens, you will have to tip your butler and concierge separately. They are not included in the daily service charge.

From our last steward on the Escape (Haven)

"Sometimes I start at one end, sometimes the other...I like to change it around." Our cabin was ready super early, but we were at the end of the block and he started at that end, that was his response to a joking question.

Heart,

I am worried, that thought had crossed our minds!
