Ashley Madison Leak - Live from Escape 5/27

Recommended Posts

Your photos of LFK have really further whet my appetite to get there. It's finally only 25 days until we board the Escape! And by God we will have our Vibe passes or There Will Be Blood. ;p

Excited to see your photos and hear your thoughts of Harvest Caye!

Ok I have questions Rick [emoji4]

First, is the Waterfront just for paid restaurant guests or can anyone eat there buffet style?

Also, I'm a huge NBA fan and I'll be going during the start of playoffs. Is there a sports bar to watch the games? When I was on Norwegian Sky in 2010 I believe, they had the perfect bar and atmosphere to watch games and I'd love to have that again.

I can chime in on the casino - most is smoking, but there is a non-smoking area near the Skyline bar. I was on the Escape in March and while I did pretty well, my friend hit $20K and $12K on successive nights on the slots (88 Fortunes and Fu-Dao-Le)!

The dining tables on the waterfront belong to specific restaurants. There are also some couches and things scattered about. I suppose you could get your food at the buffet on deck 16 and take it down to deck 8 to eat it on a couch. Or you could simply eat it at an outside table at the buffet.

Quick question...

While in HC today, were you able to use your ship key card for purchases in the restaurants, shops, etc? I understand the UBP doesn't work there, but I'm curious to know if you can swipe your key card! I've heard mixed answers on if this is possible or not.

I'm enjoying your review. It's getting me so excited!

Thanks so much!

NBA games are played on the TVs in O'Sheehans. No issue not catching a game.

Both answers get two thumbs up!!

I'm really excited now and it's a bonus that traveling from Toronto to New York will be a breeze and cheap!!

Time to find the roll call [emoji4]

We have only sailed NCL (Gold level) but are trying the Anthem this year. I saw you were just on the Anthem. Is there anyplace to get wings like you get in O'Sheehans? I know we will miss the Thai wings they have - they were a daily staple on our cruise last year.

Okay, ready for some Harvest Caye pictures?

Overall, a nice place to stop if you like a good beach/pool break. Personally, I think the Bahamas private islands are nicer, but I wouldn't hesitate coming back here.

I spent the day in the pool at the swim up bar, but there are kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats and a zip line if you are wanting to do an activity.

I see some really bad sunburn happening there at the pool bar. <Note to self: make sure you reapply multiple times!>

Thank you for posting the pool cabana pictures. We sprang for one for our group for the day. I figure our kids will want to be in the pool the majority of the day - it gives us a base with some respite from the sun. Do you know how close to the pool they are?

There's a song here somewhere...

Is that a Canon G7X? Forgive the newbie trying to learn here. I saw a pic of Ricks gear and thought I was responding.
