I'm fairly loyal to Royal and went on my first NCL cruise this past December since I went on The Norway back in the 90's. I loved the way they run the solo program it was nice to have a group to meet up with for dinner. Also loved the solo cabins they are a bit small but it's nice not to pay a supplement.

Rick - loving your review as always...how long did it take you to go thru the ropes course? And have you been on any of the royal ships with slides yet? Wondering how the slides compared...trying to figure out my son would tolerate giving up the flowrider for ropes course/good slides in return...(the regular slides on Liberty were crap...tidal wave was great though!)

Great thread and as others have stated thanks for sharing a "flavor" of NCL for us Royal cruisers. The Roatan and LFK photos look awesome. Also nice to hear about the activity levels and dining choices.
