stjlo Posted June 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2017 When looking through the Princess Patters, I noticed that there is a $10 extravaganza or something like that. Are the items really $10 and is there pressure to buy other more expensive items?
CATGUY7 Posted June 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2017 I think they are all $10.00. Watches, bags, clothes, vests, snow globes, etc. No pressure. Did a walk through and walked back out.
A&Jfamily Posted June 30, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2017 It's usually a sidewalk type sale and a great place to grab souvenirs or do dads for people back home if you are into that. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Ya like the stores sometimes they have at airports, $10 and the item lasts for 10 minutes before it breaks lol :o

jasbo49 Posted June 30, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 30, 2017 You might have to fight the crowds and bargain hunters, but there's nothing bogus about it. It's a bunch of tables (in a dining room) with purses and watches and shirts and whatever. I bought a necktie at one when I went on a cruise intending to skip formal nights, then reconsidered. Unless you're among the first in and out, plan to spend a lot of time in line at check-out. Jim
sandij Posted June 30, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2017 They're the same brand as stores you find in airports and some malls. Not bad stuff, especially if you need a shawl or evening purse.

Are the items really $10 and is there pressure to buy other more expensive items? It is sometimes held in the MDR. Most prices are $10, but not all. Several good stuff, like shirts, for souvenirs. sunsetbeachgal Posted June 30, 2017 #15 Share Posted June 30, 2017 There is also a "big sale" on most Princess cruises on the last sea day in one of the dining rooms. Clothing, souvenirs, leftover port souvenirs from earlier sailings, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Sea and Me Posted June 30, 2017 #22 Share Posted June 30, 2017 Twice my DH bought a watch, the first one lasted 6 years, the second he just bought in November. Great bargains and nice watches. It is his day to day watch and he tells people he got it on a Princes cruise;) Not too shabby for $10.
Cinerama Posted June 30, 2017 #23 Share Posted June 30, 2017 Bought one of those $10 watches on a Princess ship. After a few weeks the wrist band broke.

Mike_DeA Posted June 30, 2017 #25 Share Posted June 30, 2017 The sale usually lasts 3 hours. I'm sure the first hour is crazy. But later the crowd thins considerably. Some decent bargains. Nice (cheap watches). I usually pull the pin so the battery doesn't drain if I only wear it occasionally.
