Carnival is the newest partner with MyVegas!

Recommended Posts

I know of 4 games connected to this, we just stayed in Vegas two nights for free. I got two tickets to the shark reef at Mandalay Bay and a free $25 value cocktail by the pool. I recently got the $100 OBC for MSC cruises. I will keep playing though, my final payment isn't due until April.

Very cool!

If you don't mind, could you post the Ts and Cs for the MSC credit? Specifically interested in any cabin restrictions or if there is a limit to how many can apply per person/cabin. I think MyVegas only talks about being used within 30 days... do you know if that is applied within 30 days (to a booking), or must you cruise and apply it on board within 30 days of receiving the award? Or must it be a new booking like RCCL?

Thanks in advance! We have a booking on Seaside in April so I'd like to take advantage of my stored gold if possible. :D

There's an app for iOS and Android that doesn't require a fb account. My wife plays without linking it to her fb.

Thanks. I just downloaded it to my phone from the Google Play Store. Though I can't play on my Chromebook (which I prefer for the larger screen) unless I join FB. Bummer.

EDIT: Apparently you need to be a FB member to redeem the Rewards. When I do a mock redemption of a Reward, it asks for your FB login. Am I missing something??

I play lots of FB games and had no idea this was even a thing. I wonder how many "points" or chips or whatever I might have earned over the past several years! If I sailed RCI, I may have seen something on their board but I don't read over there.

Oh well. Guess I'll check it out.

Sadly, I work and can't spend all day sitting and refreshing a browser hoping to get a deal. I usually miss the Carnival gift cards because I can't watch the boards nonstop to see when they're available.

So, let me get this straight before I spend time this weekend online. This is a free game that you can play online, through FB, or through your phone, just like, oh, Candy Crush Saga, except it's a casino game. And you "win" points that you can then turn into real rewards? Is it one game? Like a slot game? Or are there multiples all under this "myVegas" umbrella?

Sounds too good to be true! ;p

I have been playing on My Vegas slots for about 3 years. I have cashed in many points for free stuff in Vegas such as free rooms, buffets, etc. I still have over 1,000,000 points which is what it takes to get a 7 day cruise.

Its one of those sites that gives you free chips to play with every day although you can purchase chips to play with too (which I have never done). In the beginning you are "building" Strip casinos. You accumulate red chips to play slots and gold chips for rewards. Go ahead and sign on for a week or so and see how it works. You start out with just a couple slot machines to play with and new ones are added for you to play on. I think I have over 30 different slots to play on.

I hope you understood my explanation.

Have they released anymore cruises since that first day? They said they would the next day, but I haven't seen any. Of course I realize they may have appeared and disappeared within seconds.

Yes, they did; someone on this thread got one on the Valor. Cruises are in great demand, so again, I'd suggest following a thread that notifies you when rewards are "refreshed" if you're on FB (join group named MyVegas Friends Rocks.)

What has worked for me in the past (regarding hard-to-get rewards) is if rewards haven't refreshed by mid-to-late afternoon, to sit on them. It make take a few hours, but I've managed to get almost everything I want. Also, if you haven't purchased a reward on the mobile version, do so...then cancel it. Your points will come back, but when there's a reward you want, you can claim it in about two clicks because your details will pre-populate. (You won't have to manually enter name, email, etc.) Seriously...those seconds count.

Is MyVegas, a reward program from a specific casino? I have only been to Las Vegas, twice, 1994 and 2008.

There are many different partners. The most popular Vegas-related ones are the MLife properties (MGM, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, etc.) The game now includes rewards from other casino locations as well and several cruise lines.

We go to Las Vegas 2 or 3 times per year. We snag cheap airfare, generally get a free room (have to pay &^%$#@* resort fees) and lots of free buffets. We used to get the BOGO monorail pass, but I think that's gone now and we find Uber to be a better option anyway. The cost of our Vegas trips is basically our shows - which we do a lot!

Question: My wife has had the iPhone app for a while and has accumulated, I think, a few hundred thousand gold coins. I do not have the app installed on my phone, yet. She currently does not have her game linked to a facebook account. We happen to have a fb account that we share for something else. If she logs into that fb account through the MyVegas app, and I download the app and do the same, are we then able to accrue coins together? I've seen some husbands & wives mention they both play. Are you earning coins separately and cashing them in for separate rewards, or combining your play somehow?

Also, I noticed they have a slots app and a blackjack app. Are the gold coins earned using both apps combined? And do you have to be logged into fb in order to combine them?

Thanks for the help. I don't know that we'd ever book a cruise using this method, but if they someday expand their Carnival rewards, we wouldn't mind having a stockpile of coins if the time ever came.

They refreshed at 545 EST tonight. I snagged a 7day Bahamas out of Baltimore. I got my confirmation, and have to wait 48 hrs for processing and than call Carnival. The only thing I don't like is - the cruise is for Nov 5 thru July 31, 2018 options of 1 - Port Can, Nassau, Freeport, or 2 - Nassau Freeport Princess Cay. The latest for either itineray is 3/18. So when I call them, I will be sure to see if something can be done for April/May. If not I'll be more than happy with March. Not complaining, just letting everybody know what I found out. Either way, I'm an going!

Now For anybody else trying, there is no time of day, it's random, BUT the last three days were between 5-7pm EST. I was home all day and stalked it. And you better be quick, it's a real feeding frenzy.

Like I said, wish I'd known about this a few years ago! I sit and play FB games on my laptop while I watch tv every evening.

I'll give it a try this weekend. :D

I never knew about this either and I play Candy Crush etc. as well!!

We have the Chase Rapids Rewards card for Southwest Airline points, you can also go to erewards.com and fill out surveys for rapid reward points as well. I have cashed in 12 flights this year from Dallas to Vegas and to California. There is an annual fee of $99 but totally worth it for all the flights we have gotten.

Where do you go to find cheap flights? And also, is it a certain time you travel that make it cheaper?

Thank you!

Interesting that at one point they say:

- applicable to new individual bookings only

but then:

- Your Payment Card details, if applying your reward to a new reservation

and also:

- must be redeemed within 30 days of a new cruise reservation booking

I'd guess that means a 'new' booking, but within 30 days. However, if it's applied manually I'd guess it mostly isn't enforced. Nonetheless, since we booked 18 months ago, I may hold off and just try to remember for our next MSC cruise. Thanks again!

We've been playing MyVegas for almost three years and have enjoyed well over one thousand dollars of benefit each in the form of free rooms, free shows, free activites and most often free buffets. In March this year we took a 5-night RCI cruise for free (paid taxes of $85+/-pp.)

NCL and MSC have offered some cruise rewards.

NOW Carnival is participating. The first bunch of cruises offered were mostly west coast or from Galveston. I'll be watching.

I just reloaded the apps to my phone. Living in driving distance of Long Beach, I see many more cruises in my future...

I loaded the apps for the first time ever on my phone. I was playing off the desktop. I was advised to load on phone, buy a cheap reward so that my info will be prefilled when I picked the cruise. That was a great big tip. All I had to do was hit submit when my cruise came up.

Yeah, it is completely confusing. I find if I usually contact myrewards they come through for me, they did when I booked rooms at the Luxor in Vegas last month and with the onboard credit. Not to mention my cruise is June 9th and I think it said the OBC was only good through 6/1 bookings? So....when you are ready I would just contact them to get it done.

Thank you!
