Majesty is simply doing what Empress was already scheduled to do. It's just a simple ship swap here.

 

 

The Empress sailings out of Miami are what would be considered "new".

 

Yes, but some had thought the move was only to Tampa. It was a move to Tampa and Port Everglades.

 

The ship continues from Port Everglades through May of 2020 with yesterday's bookings with the Key West port agent confirmed.

 

Empress continues from Miami year round through May of 2020 from Miami then.

Port St. Maarten cruise schedules had been taken off line for a couple of weeks and just returned as available to view.

 

It is interesting that all RCI bookings after January of 2019 had been removed from the booking lists.

 

I was hoping for some leads for Grandeur bookings there as that was always a pretty reliable source of future RCI bookings.

 

I knew RCI was building a port development at St. Maarten, but I was not aware that they might have their own piers. This might just be them going in and rescheduling all the ships that have been moved around I would guess.

Enchantment moving back to Galveston in May of 2019 was covered in the November 7th press release from RCI.

 

Travelers from the Southwest also seeking short Caribbean getaways can take advantage of 4- and 5-night sailings on Enchantment of the Seas from Galveston, Texas to various destinations in Mexico, year-round. Short Caribbean itineraries will be available to book the week of Nov. 20, 2017. All itineraries will be available to book by Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members one day prior to the general opening date.

For sure no Vision Class will be moved to TUI Cruises as they are currently replacing similar old Celebrity ships (Galaxy and Mercury) with new ships.

 

In 2018/19 they will also not sell a Vision Class to Thompson Cruises (now Marella Cruises) as part of TUI Group as they get one ship per year from TUI Cruises (Galaxy in 2018 and Mercury in 2019), that is enough growth for their smaller fleet.

I think Voyager (or maybe Explorer) will be used to replace whatever Navigator did. Southampton sailings and then the 5/9 sailings from Miami.

The only reason they could be an element of fact here is that TUI deployment had booked a ship called Discovery3 at Gibraltar last April and recently at Riviera Ports.

 

Vision is booked at ports for Barcelona and NOLA in 2019 and 2020.

 

Without St. Maarten or Canada port bookings it is not possible to verify Grandeur yet.

 

I also do not think it will happen.

 

That said, depending on the success of CTrip booking small ports in China for turnarounds they may want to have the sister ships from TUI UK, Galaxy and Mercury.

Enchantment is not booked at Cayman Ports, which would indicate a possible deadheading scenario.

There is no port evidence yet, except Sydney showing both Voyager and Explorer along with Hong Kong showing summer 2019 Voyager 2/3 night sailings. Marina Bay still has only Voyager and not Explorer on their ship list.
