kh81828587 Posted September 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2017 I did do a search for this question, but the only thing I was getting were posts from years ago, so I'm not sure how accurate they are. What are the drinks available for free? I know there is iced tea, but can you get it sweet? One post from 2012 said there were flavored waters, is that still true? We are trying to decide if we need to bring some diet pepsi on board or if what is offered will be enough. Thanks for any help.
Clarea Posted September 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2017 Drinks included with the basic cruise fare: tap water, coffee, hot tea, iced tea (unsweet only), lemonade, milk, juices with breakfast. We saw flavored waters in Park Cafe.

matj2000 Posted September 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2017 When you pay thousands of dollars for a cruise. Do you really want to call them "Free Drinks"?
Artemis908 Posted September 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2017 I've also seen Fruit Punch in some places too included (l think I only saw this option in the buffet area)

jll583 Posted September 14, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 14, 2017 Flavored water and plain in Sorrento's and Solarium too! Also there is a plain water station at the Boardwalk Dog House when it's open. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
kh81828587 Posted September 14, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted September 14, 2017 Thanks everyone! That really helps. We have one traveling with us that just doesn't really like to drink plain water all the time, so nice to know she can have some variety.
lbjen Posted September 14, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 14, 2017 You might consider bringing some of that Mio water flavoring. My husband keeps it at his desk for when he's bored with water.
Wivian Posted September 14, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 14, 2017 We are trying to decide if we need to bring some diet pepsi on board or if what is offered will be enough. Thanks for any help. I think you can't bring Diet Pepsi to oasis. Or any rci ships. Only two bottles of wine per stateroom. Water is also "prohibited"?

They generally don't enforce the prohibition on beverages in the case of soda and water, except around spring break. Best to bring soda in cans as those are harder to use to sneak alcohol. papaflamingo Posted September 15, 2017 #14 Share Posted September 15, 2017 When you pay thousands of dollars for a cruise.Do you really want to call them "Free Drinks"? No. But since EVERY OTHER DRINK ON THE SHIP costs extra, these are, technically, "free." Or if you prefer "included in the cruise fare." But that's so extraneous. matj2000 Posted September 15, 2017 #15 Share Posted September 15, 2017 When you know exactly what the poster was asking. Do you really want to be a pedant? Of course I know exactly what they are asking. I am pointing out how ridiculous the op sounds asking it like that. Paying all that money and being excited about being served basically 'tap water".. sloch24 Posted September 15, 2017 #16 Share Posted September 15, 2017 Being Diabetic, I wanted to mention that there is usually some flavor of "sugar free" drink available in the WindJammer for lunch. On our last cruise (Navigator), I think it was some sort of Kiwi-Strawberry flavor. Whatever it was, I'm sure I consumed a few gallons of it over the course of 7 days.. :)
