New NCL advisement re itinerary changes Eastern Caribbean

I'm on March 11 Escape and got the "changes after coming" email a few weeks ago but nothing since then. I wonder why we are excluded from the emails other people after getting. Would actually prefer a regular Western if there Eastern clearly isn't going to happen as we did Jamaica and Grand Cayman on our last cruise, I guess time will tell.

ETA: Someone just posted on my roll call that our cruise had been updated on MyNCL with Falmouth, Grand Cayman, GSC, and Nassau.

Do you mean the March 10th Escape? If you go to do a mock booking for that date it has these ports:

SHIP Norwegian Escape

CRUISE PORTS EMBARK Miami (Florida); Falmouth (Jamaica); George Town (Grand Cayman); Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas); Nassau(Bahamas); DISEMBARK Miami (Florida)

Looking at the 10 day Eastern Caribbean out of NYC on Gem for Feb 24 which includes St Thomas and St Maarten as well as San Juan. Honestly I am completely fine with any port (don't love Falmouth, but whatever) because if I am not working, not cooking, not cleaning....I'm happy!

We are on the same cruise. Have not heard of any changes yet. Have you?

We leave on the Jade and just received our new sailing with 30 days to go

San Juan ,St Thomas,St Martin,Dominica,St lucia and Barbados all were eliminated

We are now going to Grand Cayman,Jamaica,Aruba,Bonaire and Curacao instead

I wished they could have left St Lucia and Barbados in but at least its not the Western Caribbean

You guys should feel lucky (IMO), as yours is the only Escape sailing in March with Costa Maya instead of Great Stirrup Cay.

Where our 3/3/18 sailing initially had 3 DOCKED ports (and THREE glorious sea days), now we have 4 ports (forfeiting a sea day), TWO of which are now tendered !!

I can't seem to find the info, but how do we know which ports are tenders? And yes, I'm sad that we lost a sea day also, as I booked our cruise because of the number of sea days.

I've seen it listed on some websites - perhaps not NCL, not sure.

I know that Grand Cayman and Great Stirrup Cay both simply don't have docks for cruise ships. With the exception of Disney's private island, I think that all the "private" islands are tender ports.

For the most part, other ports are docked, unless they're slated for more ships than their piers can accommodate, in which case some ships will draw the short straw - hopefully the smaller ones.
