I haven't received this email :( has anyone tried to book any of these cruises without getting their email? I do visit the casino ALOT and have received promotions in the past

Two suggestions:

1. Be patient - they may be spending these out in waves.

2. Call your Casino Royale number that you have received in the past.

I received the offer yesterday too and yes it is a Casino Royal offer. I don't know why they sent it to me because besides playing the blackjack tournaments I don't really gamble on a cruise. I called to check it out and was told that yes you have to pay the taxes and port charges (and gratuities $13.50 per day) which came out to $110 plus ($94.50) for Allure on a western route. Since you only are paying taxes it is FULLY REFUNDABLE up until the day of the cruise. Airfare from Chicago is running around $350 - $400 so for less than $600 all in I have a 7 day cruise!

So is this a "free" cruise because you lost $1k+ on the last cruise in the casino and they hope you'll do it again? :D

But in all seriousness as a business the only reason they'd do this is if they thought they'd earn revenue in excess of the food & overhead costs from it...

Overall, your statement is correct. But offers are more based on the amount of time you spend in the casino. On my last cruise I ended up ahead and still receive offers.

OMG....I had a couple of emails from Royal in my email when I got home but I deleted them without reading them.

Dumb I know!!!

I wonder if I called them if they would know whether or not I was sent an email offer?

If you call Casino Royale, they will have a list of offers you are eligible for.

If you wanted to drive to Milwaukee, Southwest has been running about $230 round trip, and they don't charge for luggage.

Im going to call tomorrow. Bohh my dh and I got the email from Casino Royal. My dh goes a few nights to the casino on the cruise and I never go. My dh asked that I call them tomorrow to just find out more about it but he also asked me how much he is expected to spend on the "free" cruise. Did you happen to ask them when you called? Thanks.

If it's the cruises being discussed on this thread, and not other Casino Royale offers, it's taxes/port fees only.

If you question refers to "how much he is expected to spend in the casino", of course they will encourage you to play. You can actually spend as much or little as you like, but if you do not spend much time in the casino it will probably affect future offers.

My husband received this offer yesterday, much to our (grateful) surprise! We gambled on our last cruise on Harmony about 6 weeks ago, but not a lot of money (maybe $200). I called the casino cruise consultant this morning and booked the Allure for October 15. An interior stateroom was the offer, with our expenses being $212 for taxes and port charges. However, we were offered a Central Park balcony upgrade for about $200 more, so we accepted that on deck 12. The representative said we will "most likely" receive C & A points for the sailing since we are paying something towards the cruise fare, which we wouldn't had we gone with the promotional offer.

Super excited about this offer and they were really awesome to deal with!

I generally try to pay an upgrade amount also because it usually is a pretty good deal. Unless it's changed recently, if it is a totally free cruise (excluding port taxes etc) you will not get the points. But if you pay something for the cruise you get the points.

Was your offer from Casino Royale?

(I received the email from Club Royale....yes it is legit. You pay taxes only. Nice Oasis class ships (allure, oasis, harmony and then the Liberty) Inside cabins with VB. Wasn't planning on another cruise, but jumped on this opp. You and a guest. $122 pp...(taxes). Upgrades not available on Harmony. Ship is pretty full.

My other half does not have any offers, he always gets offers, could it be because we were on the Harmony in may we received a free casino balcony cruise offer and since we are going on October 29th on the Oasis, could this be the reason. why he hasn't received one..we already booked on one? I am assuming he may get another complimentary cruise on the Oasis for future to take, we shall see.

The tournament offer wasn't great for our level of play. Maybe around $1000-$1200 for neighborhood balcony. I didn't write it down but it was in that range.

We booked the complimentary cruise and paid to upgrade. The rep told my husband we would not get points even if we paid extra. Obviously we hope that's wrong, but still a great deal.

I hope this isn't one of the new changes with the casino program....

That's what I thought, too, until I was educated by some frequent Casino Royale guests

If the cruise comes from the casino, even free cruises get C&A points.

Hi Mary

I've always received C&A points over the years on my free cruises even most recent as of last week from our 9/9/17 sailing and I've never paid for any upgrade on any of those sailings.

I hope this isn't one of the new changes with the casino program....

Mary, with all the changes going on at CR, I also hope this is not another change

Carol, like I said to Mary above, I just received C&A points last week from a free cruise. CR is constantly making changes and not to the member's benefit. Who knows if this special offering of a free cruise with limited sail dates they are giving to some players, has the stipulation of no C&A points. Of course if they upgrade their recent offer, they should be given C&A points. And, not all CR members have received this offer.
