Jzx1103 Posted October 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2017 So I just got an email earlier from Princess Players Club offering rates as low as $49 per person for 5 nights on either Crown or Royal Princess (not per night, but for the entire sailing). In fact, every sailing in Nov and Dec out of Ft Lauderdale in the Regal, Royal, or Crown Princess was showing heavily discounted prices mostly between $99 per person to $149 pp for 7 or 8 nights. Even the Christmas 10 nighter only cost $400 pp. Has anyone seen this before? And how often do they offer these? Unfortunately I used the last of my vacation days for the remainder of the year booking Allure of the Seas on Of 29th talk about bad timing. NSWP Posted October 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Never heard of this 'Princess Players Club." Is it only available to North Americans? :loudcry::mad:
Rare azbirdmom Posted October 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I usually get the casino offers but have not seen this one yet. When there have been multiple cruises offered by the Princess Players Club at close to free rates, I have been able to see the low rates when logged into Princess.com. Check there first and if in doubt, just call Princess.

Florida_gal_50 Posted October 13, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I got this too but air just doesn't make it realistic. I also just got back from a cruise. Hotel prices are very high too for Fort Lauderdale for one of the dates I tried. I got one a couple months ago as well. Why I'm getting casino offers is amazing to me. I don't gamble a lot. OSU Buckeyes 1980 Posted October 13, 2017 #9 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Crazy rates for anyone. I booked a mini suite for the December 8 day Southern for $329 each.
Rare CineGraphic Posted October 13, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I too got an email with obscenely low rates, but nothing to say that it was from the casino, just "drop & go", 8 days for $149 for an inside or $329 for a mini
Funkat Posted October 13, 2017 #11 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I'm not seeing any of these low rates, but then I'm not a member of the Players Club. Our first Princess cruise will be next March but I was thinking of a cheap Princess holiday getaway. Guess that was just visions of sugarplums. lol
Lucky TGO Posted October 13, 2017 #12 Share Posted October 13, 2017 That’s a great deal!! Go for it. :D Tony
cloveygrl Posted October 13, 2017 #13 Share Posted October 13, 2017 The "Princess Players Club" means you used the casino - and I use the word "used" lightly - I play very little - like a couple hands - because I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke. I got the email and the special rates end of September and booked a mini-suite for 1500 (total) and just got an upgrade offer. The insides I was offered were for like 400 (total). Tip of the day: play some casino games.
Working 2 Cruise Posted October 13, 2017 #14 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I booked my Royal Princess cruise, 10 nights for $200 pp. Note that this offer will not be available for everybody. I got it as a casino players email. When I check the fares now, they reverted back to normal, maybe a bit below...
Working 2 Cruise Posted October 13, 2017 #15 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I don't recall hearing about the Princess Players Club. How do I sign up for it? You cannot sign up for it. You can be selected at some point. No telling.
octoberdana Posted October 13, 2017 #16 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Hubby and I both played a few slots on our cruise, didn't spend much. We just got the email, the timing is too soon for us or I'd be all over it. Great deal!
Jzx1103 Posted October 13, 2017 Author #17 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Yea this is definitely legit. I can see the rates when I'm logged in on Princess's website. If I'm not logged in then prices revert back to normal. Again my wife and I are so depressed now that we got this offer at a time where we can no longer take anymore vacation days until after new years :(:loudcry:
Rare azbirdmom Posted October 13, 2017 #18 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Well I usually get the offers but didn't this time. Hubby just found that he got it in his spam folder. Now we have some decisions to make!
cloveygrl Posted October 13, 2017 #19 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Well I usually get the offers but didn't this time. Hubby just found that he got it in his spam folder. Now we have some decisions to make! lol my decision was how many fingers to risk with the immediate and furious button pushing. When I saw prices were more than 50% off from the day before (of greatly discounted prices) I thought it was a website bug and started furiously pounding my fingers on the keyboard. Saw the email after I had locked in. ;p
Kelowna Cruiser Posted October 13, 2017 #20 Share Posted October 13, 2017 It's for real. I just booked an inside cabin 7 nights Dec 10 Eastern Caribbean on the Regal for the silly price of $ 118 Canadian Dollars ( $ 16.85 per day). Maybe I better call to upgrade to a balcony at $ 250. Hard to believe but true.
Rare leck57 Posted October 13, 2017 #21 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I've been on a few Princess Cruises and been in the casino for a few nights on each cruise. I'd not heard of the players club and have never been sent an email that even refers to the players club. Has any Aussie had one of these emails? Rare geoherb Posted October 13, 2017 #22 Share Posted October 13, 2017 This is the first time I've received a Players Club offer--and I jumped on it. We were already considering several different cruises for December. I went with the 10-day Royal going to the southern Caribbean. Some of the other cruises I originally considered were also offered at great prices but not all of them.
PoohUnderstands Posted October 13, 2017 #23 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I don't gamble at all and have no interest in it. However, if it would possibly get me emails like you guys are talking about....... are you saying that if I just play the slot machine for a couple of times or whatever the minimum amount is, that that will put me on "the list" to possibly get emails like this too? I am going on a cruise in March and will definitely do this if you say that will get me on the list of these type of special pricings!! 99Cruiser Posted October 13, 2017 #24 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I get offers all the time for being a casino player. On my last cruise last month I was told I was one of the biggest gamblers on the cruise and the last night I got a letter saying if I book certain cruises they would give me $1000 in casino credit. For those that do gamble here's a tip. Make friends with the casino supervisors and managers and if you are playing enough ask if they will buy you a drink. I did this the very first night and the rest of the cruise never paid for a drink while I was in the casino.
eagletwo Posted October 13, 2017 #25 Share Posted October 13, 2017 I don't know if we got the price due to my wife playing in the casino, but she booked the Dec. 9-17 cruise on the Crown Princess for $956.00 total for a mini suite in Emerald deck. Includes Platinum insurance, taxes and port fees. Seems the ship is now filling up and the low, low fares are gone.
