Clarea Posted February 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Royal arranges to give the attendees a venue to meet face to face. They usually provide some refreshments/snacks, maybe the CD or some other crewmember speaks for a short time, there are some giveaways. Maybe lasts 30-45 minutes. TBone2K Posted February 2, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2018 There will be meet and mingles on shorter cruises, as well as other cruise lines, but they are not arranged by the ship. Have a look for your meet and mingle and see what is going on. Someone from the M&M have also volunteered to organize other things with our M&Ms such as room tours, gift exchanges and group casino visits. OliviaJ10 Posted February 2, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Is this something a group can set up? Traveling with about 75 people in March and the group leader is looking for somewhere for everyone to meet. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Traveling with about 75 people in March and the group leader is looking for somewhere for everyone to meet. If you are on a 7-day or longer cruise, Royal will set it up automatically. However, if you are on a shorter cruise and/or you want your group meeting to be private, you will have to arrange that with the ship people once you are onboard. In this case, they will likely charge you for the use of a venue.
Xport Posted February 3, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 3, 2018 (edited) There will be meet and mingles on shorter cruises, as well as other cruise lines, but they are not arranged by the ship. Sister lines Celebrity and Azamara both host Meet & Mingle get-togethers for Cruise Critic members in the same way that Royal Caribbean does... In fact, Azamara does so without requirement that 25 or more pre-register to attend and often stage them like small cocktail parties. Traveling with about 75 people in March and the group leader is looking for somewhere for everyone to meet. Sent from my iPad using Forums All 75 people would have to be members of Cruise Critic. The Meet and Mingle is for and about Cruise Critic members. Would not be a good venue for your group. Bob (Clarea) gave you an excellent suggestion for your group event. Enjoy!
