Banana15 Posted February 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2018 We are sailing on Celebrity Equinox and have a hump cabin right near the Card Room. Does that ever get loud? I'm not concerned about daytime, but more late in the evening.

Banana15 Posted February 16, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted February 16, 2018 No not at all, lovely and quiet Sent from my iPad using Forums Thank you! I just realized that it was there and I started wondering if it was like a casino area that was going to get loud. Is it just more like a few tables to play cards at? dkjretired Posted February 16, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2018 There's a door from the hallway into the card room so should be no noise.

frteach Posted February 17, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 17, 2018 We always take a veranda in that area since it is close to the elevators, and have never had any problem. Some cruises we have rarely seen anyone use the room, and sometimes it is popular for mah-jong players, as well as cards.
GerScot Posted February 17, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 17, 2018 Quietest place on the ship!
NantahalaCruiser Posted February 17, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 17, 2018 Depending on the time of day (and also during the early evening) you may well hear more noise from the musical groups in the atrium than from those playing cards or other games in the Card Room. On our last cruise on the Equinox, while playing bridge in the Card Room during the afternoon, the music was often loud enough that we had to repeat our bids in order to be understood! justcrusn Posted February 17, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 17, 2018 Cards, not so much. But when they dump those tiles.... Click, clack, crash lol
Shadow9612 Posted February 17, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 17, 2018 It's an excellent location to be at, and you shouldn't hear anything from inside your stateroom. I'd say it's busier during the day than in the late evening.... Enjoy!
Luvcrusn Posted February 17, 2018 #11 Share Posted February 17, 2018 It's quiet. There are doors separating the card room from the hall way. Great location. Save the worries!
JTSpitfire Posted February 17, 2018 #12 Share Posted February 17, 2018 We've been on the 9th deck on 6+ S class sailings, just steps away from the card room. Never a noise, and our last cruise it was packed during the day. There is a doorway but during our cruise it was never closed. Still, quite silent. As an added plus, it's very close to the elevators--which are also not a source of noise.
Holly2 Posted February 18, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 18, 2018 You can use the S class cabin thread for cabins in vicinity. We have 9209 on upcoming cruise and didn’t find any complaints. Good to hear people liked that floor.
