lakeliving501 Posted March 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2018 This morning, I accessed my account from site on my iPad. When I went to cruise planner to check our additions (Wi-Fi and drinks), it locked me out. Called Celebrity and was told that their website is not compatible with Apple devices. How bizarre. I do have a Microsoft tablet but really find this incredible. Did I understand the rep correctly? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Sent from my iPhone using Forums I called yesterday because I couldn't get into reservations for shore excursions. She told me the same thing. When I explained it was never a problem with my Ipad in the past, she told me that was "highly unusual" because their site does not work with Apple products.[emoji848][emoji848][emoji848] Sent from my iPad using Forums
long time lurker Posted March 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2018 And yet their partnership is with Apple on board, they sell Apple products onboard and have Apple computers for the computer lounge. :o
cruzzzinma Posted March 19, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2018 A few days ago they made a software change and I cannot get into cruise planner for my reservation on my iPad. I can get into the reservation, but when I click “manage reservation” I get thrown back to the main page. It work on my MacBook. I assume it will mysteriously disappear soon just as it mysteriously appeared.

I’ve called again and been told again that their site is not compatible with Apple devices (I can see our booked cruises - just not cruise planner for them). Thank you everyone for the replies. I appreciate how helpful this forum always is! Sent from my iPhone using Forums

SharonK Posted March 20, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 20, 2018 I have also been trying to get on the Cruise Planner on my iPad and each time was unsuccessful. So I tried it on DHs HP and had no problem. [emoji51] Sent from my iPad using Forums

CruiseLifeIsTheBest Posted March 20, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Same problem here all of a sudden on my iPad but if I select Menu (top left), Cruise Planner and then Find Your Reservation ( don't log in using your User Name or you will have the same problem) it works. Kinda a pain with multiple booking but.....it worked. And it is ironic they have a problem with Apple products
Jeremiah1212 Posted March 21, 2018 #12 Share Posted March 21, 2018 If that portion of the website runs with Flash or Java, it is correct that it would not run on iOS (iPad or iPhone). It’s not necessarily a website problem. iOS does not support it. Sent from my iPad using Forums
ricklepickle Posted March 21, 2018 #13 Share Posted March 21, 2018 I'm so glad someone asked this - I thought there was something wrong with my iPad! Ironic since they have those Apple specialists on board (at least according to the website that I can only access on my computer (a MacBook), I haven't sailed yet. :)

It’s not necessarily a website problem. iOS does not support it. This makes sense. Apple is quick to abandon ['deprecate' is their term] dying technologies, while Celebrity's IT is still powered by coal gas [and the UK office probably by peat ]
