Large Balcony vs Regular Balcony

Got a email from RC for an upgrade from Reg balcony to a large balcony for $400. Is the bigger balcony worth $400?

What is the letter category? They may be talking about the cabin size, and not the balcony size....D's and E's have the same size balcony but the D category is a bigger cabin!

I just got an upgrade call too. We have JS 1100 on southbound Alaska cruise on Radiance. Upgrade to the Royal Suite for $2,100 additional.

Sorry for lack of info. I am in a 6D on the Harmony for a seven day cruise #12274. Email said upgrade to Large Ocean View Balcony.

Thanks! I booked it the first hour the cabins appeared on the website, the night before the official release date, as they were loading the Alaska itineraries. I was tempted to take the upgrade, probably would have on a ship with Royal Suite Class, but I passed on it. We are happy with 1100.:)

I would not upgrade for $400 unless there were more than two in the cabin. If there were more than two, every inch of space helps.:)

It is a tough decision. I am really excited with the cabin we have for our cruise, but still not sure I made the right choice.
