RetiredRich Posted April 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2018 We are looking into taking the Eurodam to Hawaii next April. Would like to know where to park and where the ship docks. We like HAL and usually go out of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Any info appreciated.
CruiserBruce Posted April 29, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2018 If you look at the West Coast Departures board, there are several discussions on parking. IIRC, there are 2 lots in the immediate area, and several at the airport, which isn't far away. A quick look at Google Maps shows where the cruise ships dock, right next (north of) to the Midway. westcoastcruiser Posted April 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2018 We stay at the best Western Yacht Harbor and they offer so many nights free parking and then a reasonable fee for additional nights. Parking is available both covered and surface/uncovered. Hotel is convenient to the pier; they have a shuttle but it is a nominal cab fare or Uber fare as an option. twincheryl Posted April 29, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Wyndham San Diego Bayside accepts reservations starting one year in advance... at this point it is $11/day. It's across the street from the port and easy to get to and from.

Another vote for the Best Western Yacht Harbor! We are staying with them and leaving the car there during our 10 day Sea of Cortez cruise Nov. 29th on the Eurodam. I always call the hotel direct before I book a Port of San Diego cruise:)! We have stayed there several times, including a 31 day Incan Empire Cruise. Property is very basic with the standard breakfast...nothing fancy. Shuttle is good on embarkation day. Last time we took a cab after disembarkation for $20. There are restaurants across the street at the harbor. Once we secure a parking spot in the underground garage we don't like to move the car. Finding a reasonable place to leave the car in San Diego is a challenge! Karen

Very convenient to the cruise port (a short walk across the street), and you can't beat the price. The ship docks at the B Street Cruise Terminal, directly across from the Wyndham.
