I've got a cruise coming up in November, then the other day I booked a 3 nighter on the Mariner in May, 2019 & if Royal would hurry up and release the May 2020 dates so I can book the Harmony.......

So does your Rhapsody B2B start on the 8th or the 15th? We cruise on the 8th for my birthday!!;p

No the B2B is on Vision out of PR. :cool:Rhapsody is following that on 2/15/20 for my sister's birthday that day. And of course we have Rhapsody this January also....assuming she does not transfer to sister company Pullmantur before then.

Hope not too since I have a wonderful corner aft balcony in February, 2020!!;) If it does happen, though, wonder what they would do with us?

We have a B2B coming up in June/July. A few weeks ago, I couldn't resist the urge to book Freedom for October '19, because the price was so good. Won't even know until December if the wife's fall break will be that week, but sure enough to roll the dice on it.

We have the same JS corner aft cabin for both upcoming Rhapsody cruises. Love that big balcony. My sister has opposing JS corner aft (port side) on our 2020 cruise. :)

The usual, would be to receive refund of cruise payment...and a discount on a future cruise. That is easier for us, being a "drive to" port, plus we are retired...but hard for my other cruise mates that have to book vacation time and flights. :o

I think we are only going to cruise once this year....will have to reschedule our Escape cruise for next year. We decided to take our bucket list trip and go to Cape Town and do a safari in September. No room in the budget for any more cruises this year. Maybe we will get our priorities straight next year!

I am also a cruise-a-holic, we have 11 booked through 2020...:p

(technically more, but some will be canceled for sure, these 11 we plan on sailing though)

Why would you book cruises knowing you are going to cancel them? Looking at prices? I'm glad they at least went to non-refundable deposit for suites.

Reminds me of people who just want to buy, buy, buy. They can't afford to pay for them so they just return them.

What I would like to know is how many of you actually take all the cruises you book???

Everything we book we take not unless something dire happens, but that has yet to happen.

We cruised like mad the last 3 years in order to make Pinnacle. I said after we make it we would back off.

Well backing off is 1 in July, 3 in Sept, 1 each month from Oct till Feb. Then 1 in May and 1 in Sept.

Plus we have 2 inside cabin cruises from Casino Royale we have yet to book.

I've got 3 in the hopper, but they are somewhat spaced apart since we are both working

1. Cuba Immersion, Sept 2018

2. South America: Argentina to Chile around the Horn Feb. 2019

3. Western Caribbean in Jan 2020 (Just to try a new ship)

So the wife has imposed a moratorium for now which I agree with, It might be dangerous when we are both retired and have open schedules, and get all those great last minute offers for our years of cruising and loyalty ;););)
